@heybulldog98 they take actualy footage and find the right moment. with the president they had to cut a lady out, put forrest in. he acts on a blank screen infront of him and pretends he's shaking their hand and the director puts dots to help him out. then they take that, put effects on it, cut out the lady, and put forrest in place of her. (The ping pong ball is also fake) the asian guy is a champion, and they had to pretend they were playing to a metronome

As a film i preferred Forrest Gump.

War films are easier to act in. Something like this is much harder. Plus how many other actors could you imagine playing Forrest Gump? Only Tom Hanks for me. But so many actors can do war films. Such extreme emotional characters are easier to act as.
