Wild Boar found in europe are Sus scrofa, with the domestic pig being Sus domestica, although they are nearly the same thing, wild boar would have beem domesticated, and traits bred into them to that they exhibited the desirable characteristics- basic animal husbandry- although the domestic pig is sometimes also called sus scrofa and hogs, i thing are just feral pigs- i.e. pigs that have escaped and become "wild"

that's not the point, there is a very real chance of him wounding the animal and it escaping and not killing it outright, that just gives the anti hunting brigade more ammo.

you should only shoot live game, like i said if you can demonstrate that you are a competent shot on paper first, not just go and say, hey i'd like to go hunting and can't hit a barn door
