i dont think so mate. every para or royal has been a para or royal from day 1. when they signed on the dotted line in the careers office they have been counted as a member of either the parachute regiment or the royal marines. yeh sure hats can go on to do p-company or the all arms commando course, but that doesnt make them a para or royal. what you are talking about was a long tome ago.

Royal Marines Commandos are part of the Royal Navy and one of the Elite british forces along with the Paras and the RAF Regiment (who arnt quite as good as either) :)
21 years in the corps is a good enough clue ya pratt...Bootnecks are Bootnecks, given we are funded and come under Jacks umbrella, but we are never classed as Royal Navy...pratt

Marines are navy infantry, with exeption of the US marines, and no we are not using US equitment, we have our own guns, tanks, apcs, jets, etc.

That's not true - as far as I'm aware you can transfer to Para, and anyone from the Armed forces can do commando training.
