  • Great video.

  • @roxx0rxD THE STUPID. IT BURNS.

  • @Mogley52 Your creation science sucks.

  • @Mogley52 Sorry, Moron, but it's proven that mutations can create new information. Such as creating 137 new genes, thanks to which a certain species of bacteria can digest Nylon.

  • Religion exists olny becaus men can not except there owne mortality and some men would chose ignorance over accepting reality

  • @roxx0rxD who says they worship the devil

i say you worship the devil

    check mate

  • @roxx0rxD the bible exists because it was used to control the masses

    heres a question for you

if everything has a creator, then who or what created god?

  • @roxx0rxD Atheist don't believe in the devil dumb-ass

  • @roxx0rxD Why dose the Koran exist? why do all other religions exist?

  • These are atheists no more. Not a single one of them. Each became fully aware of the existence of God, prior to being thrown into the eternal lake of fire. There is absolutely no question in the minds of any of these former non believers, that the Bible was right, and it was they who were wrong. They took a gamble, and it cost them their souls.

  • @theabiotictheory Your evidence for such a claim?

  • @theabiotictheory Your fear games wont work on us... GTFO

  • @theabiotictheory

How is it you came to know this?

  • @theabiotictheory why would they claim that

the bible has never, and will never be right

  • Found this video on Facebook and posted a video response & sub.

    Are you on FB?

  • Likey

  • @roxx0rxD well, thank you for your prayers. God bless!

  • @roxx0rxD okay, then if the flying spaghetti monster is not real, then why does the gospel of the flying spaghetti monster exist? checkmate.

  • @roxx0rxD i hope you're joking. and even if you were, it would not be a very funny joke.

  • @roxx0rxD - Seriously? Checkmate? Nope! The bible was written by MAN and has very little, if any at all, historical accuracy.

  • @SteveW668 thats what lee strobel thought. and yes it does have historical accuracy's in it.

  • @batman201ful Wrong - there are NO historical accuracies in the bible. Strobel is an idiot.

  • @SteveW668 look it up yourself and you will see there is. maybe its because you never read the Bible at all, yet you know so much about it hmmmmm. i've read the Bible maney times and i can say for a fact that there is historical accuracy's in it and the fact that you speak on things on which you know nothing about shows how smart you really are.

  • @batman201ful I have probably read the bible more than you. It is a fairy tale written by man. It is full of contradictions and inconsistencies. Care to point out some of these historical accuracies?

    Strobel is still an idiot...

  • *swoon* reason is so attractive and exciting! way better than hollow platitudes that sound good but can't be implemented.

  • Oh, If only some of these dead souls could only tell you now the hellfire they are experiencing for all eternity.

Most atheist are shaking the fists at a God they do not believe in. They are angry at a God they deny. Sounds a bit insame to me.

  • @Catholicdadof4

well no, you're kinda missing the point. When anger is expressed, it is usually at the actions and beliefs of men. If you dont believe in somthing, you cant be angry at it. as a result, atheists are either defending their lack of belief, or attacking a belief they disagree with. It doesnt mean they hate god.

    also scare tactic=/=arguement

  • @Catholicdadof4 no, its that we have to deal with disgusting maggots like yourself, threatening people with ETERNAL TORTURE for using their fucking brain, i feel sick at the mere existence of a being as worthless as a christian, especially a catholic, bettter watch out, the pope might fuck your kids

  • @blazereef LOL, you are further proof, there is no such thing as a happy atheists. Keep up the good work!

  • @Catholicdadof4 I'm happy... therefore you point is bullshit... have a nice day

  • @DocStrange0123 I am glad you are happy today, but there will come a time when there will be wailing and gridiing of teeth. Jesus is Lord. You have been warned.

  • @Catholicdadof4 And you can't face reality, it's too harsh, you can't handle death so you have to believe in a made up conforting fantasy, good luck, you've been warned...

  • @Catholicdadof4 Please Dad do not teach your children your religious non sense! you have been warned, they will grow up and hate you!

  • @Catholicdadof4 More insane than shaking your fist at people and proscribing eternal suffering and damnation in the name of a vast omnipotent and omniscient being who is so powerful that that he cant even convince the majority of "his creations" that he exists? No....I think it is far more insane to believe in a god that only has any powers in the past, but when his proofs are most needed ...sits impotent on a throne of fairy tales.

  • @Catholicdadof4 Your being so incredibly deluded is what seems insane to me. I think you need psychiatric attention.

  • Very Inspiring

  • Ludwig von Mises FTW! :-D

    Keep up the good work.

  • BattleTx

Reason must be deluded, blinded, and destroyed. Faith must trample underfoot all reason, sense, and understanding, and whatever it sees must be put out of sight and ... know nothing but the word of God." - Martin Luther

"The damned whore Reason...." - Martin Luther

  • BattleTx

really you might wanna reread genisis

The tree of knowledge was the path to sin

or read martian luther opinion of reason as opposed to blind faith

  • These quotes from such great minds make me very proud of my free mindedness.

  • Theism is like cancer...you let it spread and there's no cure for it.

  • Philip K. Dick was a gnostic Christian. Not an atheist. Just pointing that out.

  • Nice collection

  • The actual Ben Franklin quote is: "The Way to see by Faith, is to shut the Eye of Reason: The Morning Daylight appears plainer when you put out your Candle"

Poor Richard’s Almanack (July 1758); The first portion of this sentence is quoted without the context provided by the rest of the sentence. It is a misrepresentation to use only half the sentence that Franklin uttered and end it with a period. The statement has always been taken as Franklin lauding faith, not condemning it.

  • @BattleshipTx The remainder of the sentence only supports the first part: basic grammar says this. When you put out your candle, you are then able to see things with your own eyes.

  • @PersonaUser000 That isn't the way it was interpreted back then. But we can disagree on interpretations. What is not up for debate is that it is a misrepresentation to give half of a sentence as a quote and end it with a period, when in fact that sentence does not end there. That is wrong to do, pure and simple. If done knowingly, the doer is a bad person. If accidental, the doer is at best misinformed, at worse sloppy and negligent.

  • No Nietzsche? How about this quote: To invent fables about a world "other" than this one has no meaning at all, unless an instinct of slander, detraction, and suspicion against life has gained the upper hand in us [...]

  • The comment about why would god create faulty humans, I think if we are going to take the bible seriously it has to be read with a more modern mind, If you take Genisis and look at it as God and the Angels are a race of Intelligent men who created man to do slave labor on the planet due for some need for natural resources so instead of ltooking for physical god or creator in the bible to explain the bible use common sense and a modern understanding of genetics.

  • @Rents66 WHAT? Are you fucking insane? Why would supernatural "god and angels" need natural resources? Your conjecture is off-the-charts idiocy.

  • @indignant99 Dude in this idea these beings are physical, not supernatural, they are a sofisticated society with space technology who maybe wrecked on this planet and needed to do some mining to fix there ship, or maybe could not fix their ship so they needed people to do the farming work for them, I mean you hear in all acient cutures about "gods" giving men knowledge and wisdom, to ancient man these things were god, just saying it's more logical then supernatural bearded dude in the sky.

  • @Rents66 sophistcated spelled wrong. LOL.

  • @Rents66 Look, little kid. It's pure wild-ass speculation. It's insane. It is not logical at all. It is just as DELUDED as the imaginary sky-daddy people. Get a grip!

  • @indignant99 It's a theory and it is not wild ass speculation many revisionist historians believe in the idea of ancient technological socities being the source for the myths of gods, it has more evidence than that of the big bang being the source of life on earth. I am just saying do some homework before you go trying to slander something you have done no research into.

  • @Rents66 "it has more evidence than that of the big bang being the source of life on earth"

It would be nice if you did some 'homework' too.

  • @kidslovesatan Explain to me the evidence of the big bang as the source of life on the planet outside of a trillion trillion to one chance and then you can say that it is more evidence then idea that myths that cross cultures could have something to do with this kind of thing take megolithic structures and explain that even using modern techniques of building.

  • Your work has been getting better and better. Looking forward to more.

  • if you think, then you reject the lies of religion and the joke that are the god/gods these wacko religions invented.

  • Favorited! Oh yeah..

  • love it :) thankyou

  • I loved this more than I thought I would.

    Great work, PA!

  • That was beautiful.

  • Great video.

  • awesome!

  • that S.F Roberts quotes is one of my favs

  • "There is in every village a torch – the teacher: and an extinguisher – the clergyman."

    Victor Hugo

Great video, thank you very much.

  • That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. WTF!? Please, someone tell me that this is not saying what I think it's saying.

  • Profound.

  • Well thought out and very well put together. Thanks for putting this video up.

  • this is a masterful collection of quotes, thank you for taking the time to make it.will send it to all of my atheist friends. even though i only have one.lol.

  • @gunnysakk

"will send it to all of my atheist friends. even though i only have one.lol."

    Awwwwwwww.

    Sending friend request.

    lol

    Peace

  • Very nice, Fav'd!

  • "God is a sound..."

    good one.

  • perfect

  • Great video...about time :P

  • Loved it!

  • Favorited.

  • Incredibly powerful.

  • BRAVO! EXCELLENT!

  • Nice selection of quotations :)

  • Excellent. We need more videos like this.

  • Humans are smart enough to ponder the universe, but sadly we are not smart enough to figure it out. Some times I think the concept of a creator God is kinda a small minded primative theory. The best our little 5 pound human brains could come up with. Truth is, we just don't know how our universe came to be. I'm happy to leave it at that.

  • Better an ugly truth than a beautiful lie:Me.(unlike theist I occasionally have an original thought.)

  • Faved.

  • beautifully done

  • If you do another one of these, search for quotes by Robert Green Ingersoll.

  • Great video, and nice choice of music too.

  • Wondrous, though at least Mark Twain wasn't a known atheist(though he may have been).

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler Mark Twain lost a child and went into a deep depression over it. Before that he was a believer, but the death of his child appeared to shake his faith in God. Most of his atheist quotes are rants against what he saw as the callousness of God.

  • @Matur1n And the hypocrisy and cruelty of the Christians of his time. His daughter apparently said he would for a moment believe in an afterlife, then the next not, but that he usually did. Maybe he lied to comfort her, but that certainly makes it hard to guess exactly what he believed. Also, Immanuel never was an expressed atheist, though he was strong in pointing out the flaws in dogma and metaphysics. In fact, it seems he wished to find a new way of reviving theology and metaphysics

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler Correction- it more than seems Immanuel wanted to revive metaphysics- it is his central work! Sadly, no one solved the problem of finding a way of really really knowing what's true, and metaphysics now tends to be a study of how exactly you cant know what you know, which means it is an attack on itself(oddly enough).

  • @Matur1n Im not sure if he was a full ahteist either. Some of his atheistic quotes are my favorite. I heard that his daughters disowned Twain and didnt talk to him near the end of his life.

  • @Ebuverthebicepcurler

Twain not a known atheist? Read his works.

  • @bdf2718 He made quotes against Christianity and faith, but he also went to church and his daughter said he went back and forth. Don't get me wrong, I'd love him to be an atheist, but it seems he went back and forth, at least publicly.

  • I normally don't like these text videos that play quotes by atheists but this one I rather enjoyed. Well done.

  • Friggin' Awesome! Thanks, PA!

  • I like how you injected the clashing scriptural quotes. No honest Christian can just gloss over this video.

  • @themsfightinwoids "No honest Christian can just gloss over this video."

Why? Just because Edison hasn't seen something it can't exist? Many of the other quotes are so obviously false on their face that the scriptures stand out as the only truth in the video.

  • @BattleshipTx Truth is a tricky subject when one proclaims truth one should put fourth their notion of what the essence of truth is.

  • @BattleshipTx Bullshit. Name a single quote and a conflicting scriptural quote that makes more sense. I dare you.

  • @TheAnniepies The Dawkins quote is particularly wrong. Nothing about Christianity teaches us to be satisfied as Dawkins claims. In fact, many of us are spurred by Christianity to learn more the world and God's handiwork in it. I live in a research area near a major university. Nearly everyone at my church are researchers, grad students, computer nerds and teachers. Dawkins parrots mindless stereotypes about religion and doesn't seem to care that he does.

  • @BattleshipTx *sigh*
