@somnus71 I hope you're kidding...the only play Edelman has ever made is the punt return against the dolphins. The dude has feet for hands...he drops the ball constantly
@Xerosnake90 they drafted for depth, the patriots have more picks than they know what to do with. A guy with Woodhead's skillset is rare, the dude has amazing agility, great hands, power for such a smaller back, and can pass block better than 250 pound fullbacks. Bellicheck likes to make sure he has a replacement in case of injury though. Look at Welker, they drafted Edeleman who did great when Welker was injured, hes been on the bench since Welker was back.
@dwid1984 Edelman was used as a punt returner in place of Welker, and did a much better job IMO. Edelman is like Welker, just faster and more agile. I always love when he comes in to play due to his big heart. The guy makes huge plays, like Woodhead, as he has something to prove. Can't wait to see more of the two next season.
