I totally agree with you. Ohio was given an easy schedule in that Ohio IS a good team but the teamms they faced were no match for them. Hawaii had an easy schedule because no one wanted to play them, yet Ohio got bumped up b/c they're favorited by the BCS officials. Georgia vs. LSU would've been amazing to watch.
should've been USC v Georgia. Really, those two teams were playing very well in the last half of the season. I think UH and Georgia were both done a disservice by being matched up together. Georgia deserved more, UH deserved not to play arguably the best team in college football. The system is flawed.

tebow stats are ok...217 of 317 68.5% 3132 yds. 29 TD.. 6 Int, not really award winning, but Colt's are= 337 of 472 71.4% 4174 yds 14 Int, 38 TD's... and thats actually 10 games. Stat wise, they throw the same % of INT's, but not TD's. I thought this was about the player and his stats, never mind the glorious team he plays for... otherwise Graham Harrell with 468 or 644 72.7% 5298 yds. 14 Int 45 TDs is a standout too!
Hawaii can handle their own against most of the teams in this country. True they aren't the best team out there, but they are a good football team and could probably hold their own right now because of colt brennan.

Truly clueless. Think for a second here buddy. 5 receivers out in the pattern, usually with no tight end (aka, extra blocker), leaves you with 5 linemen blocking for you. This is anywhere from 1 to 4 fewer men to block for you than is common in most offenses. Can any quarterback deal with that kind of pressure, read what's going on upfield, and be as accurate as Colt given that scenario? I don't think so. Not to mention the guy can run.

And even more criticism should be directed at why Hawaii doesn't go play ranked teams away with the "great" team they have. Use a little common sense here. Hawaii is the best team in the nation, they go undefeated, and yet they barely make the top 15. Colt Brennan is the greatest football player in college history, and this Hawaii Football team could beat anybody, but they wont have the chance due to their schedule.

Honestly, Hawaii gets alot of criticism for its football program because they play alot of shitty teams. I will admit though, Hawaii is a damn good college team, they just don't get good respect.
If you look at the UH baseball and volleyball programs. They've both been in the top 10 and play strong schedules and compete legitimatly. How then can you gauge a programs REAL success unless it plays top 10 teams regularly. As an example, if the UH was in the PAC 10 and was 10-0, it would be a completely different story.
True, if you know they can play against the best colleges in the country, and I'm sure they could, they would be recognized alot more and have alot more respect from other major universities and critics. Hawaii is a very underrated team , simply because they are playing against alot of other underrated teams. For years to come, I want to see them compete against teams like USC, Ohio State, or LSU. That is where you get your recognition.

I think it's great for Hawaii that they made it to a BCS bowl at all. I kind of knew they were going to lose against Georgia, but I didn't think it would be such a blowout. I totally agree with you. Ohio was given an easy schedule in that Ohio IS a good team but the teamms they faced were no match for them. Hawaii had an easy schedule because no one wanted to play them, yet Ohio got bumped up b/c they're favorited by the BCS officials. Georgia vs. LSU would've been amazing to watch.

Yes he should have, he certainly should have won it last year (58 Touchdowns, 12 ints) and that was against MUCH tougher teams then what they played this year, the fact that he didnt get a heisman is the fault of biased heisman voters who arent willing to look outside the BCS conferences for their candidate (I believe the only player to ever win a heisman who played for a non-bcs school was Ty Detmer, in 1990)

tebow stats are ok...217 of 317 68.5% 3132 yds. 29 TD.. 6 Int, not really award winning, but Colt's are= 337 of 472 71.4% 4174 yds 14 Int, 38 TD's... and thats actually 10 games. Stat wise, they throw the same % of INT's, but not TD's. Hawaii can handle their own against most of the teams in this country. True they aren't the best team out there, but they are a good football team and could probably hold their own right now because of colt brennan.

yeah he did, it was a mistake on his part. But what i meant by off the field is his generosity, and the essence of teamwork he brings. He decided to share the WAC offensive player of the week with his team, making it the WAC offensive unit of the year. He made some mistakes in the past, but he hasn't had a problem in hawaii yet. He changed for the better and thats why June Jones took him in, because he saw that thats not what Colt was about when he made that mistake.

dude, look at the quarterbacks coming out this draft. there are so many that are going to be first rounders. this could be one of the strongest drafts for passers ever. Matt Ryan from BC, Andre Woodson from Kentucky, Brian Brohm from Louisville, and Chad Henne from Michigan. that's 4 qb's guranteed to go in the first round. brennan could go in the first round also if he does well in the combine.

matt ryan is going to be the first QB taken, unless the falcons take the the first QB then its going to be brohm. woodson is definately going to go higher than colt. Andre Woodson is 6'5" and 230 lbs. and has the picture perfect form for throwing the ball and he has shown great progress. Colt Brennan is 6'3" and 195 lbs. and throws the ball kind of sideways. He also had that conviction at colorado so he's an ex-con. so matt, andre, and brohm are definately going to go higher than colt.

Colt should win the Heisman in my opinion. Did you even see the Washington game? There was never a doubt (even when it was 21-0) that Hawaii would win. When Hawaii scored its 21 points to cut the lead to 7 (28-21) Brennan went for 100% on each of those drives in a row; 7-7, 5-5, 8-8. The announers during the game described him as "laser accuracy" and "Not just good, scary good".

But Hawaii has yet to play a team that is a challenge. Since LSU is probably going to the NC, even though they had their chance twice and blew it, what better than for UGA to put an end to this madness called Hawaii by steamrolling them. Truly clueless. Think for a second here buddy. 5 receivers out in the pattern, usually with no tight end (aka, extra blocker), leaves you with 5 linemen blocking for you. This is anywhere from 1 to 4 fewer men to block for you than is common in most offenses. Can any quarterback deal with that kind of pressure, read what's going on upfield, and be as accurate as Colt given that scenario? I don't think so. Not to mention the guy can run.

Hawaii 2006 three ranked teams last year = 3 losses. No ranked teams this year = no losses. And don't tell me Boise State was ranked, they were there this year out of pity, just like Hawaii will be next year.

If you look at the UH baseball and volleyball programs. They've both been in the top 10 and play strong schedules and compete legitimatly. How then can you gauge a programs REAL success unless it plays top 10 teams regularly. As an example, if the UH was in the PAC 10 and was 10-0, it would be a completely different story.

True, if you know they can play against the best colleges in the country, and I'm sure they could, they would be recognized alot more and have alot more respect from other major universities and critics. Hawaii is a very underrated team , simply because they are playing against alot of other underrated teams. For years to come, I want to see them compete against teams like USC, Ohio State, or LSU. That is where you get your recognition.

You are so very right. Before the baseball and volleyball programs became successful. They really struggled to get respect. But as they competed with better level teams it forced them to take their game to a higher level. I think that right now, the football program is underrated by the NCAA, but overrated by the Hawaii. I wish it were possible to see how Hawaii would do, if magically they could compete in the Pac 10. That would be kewl...
