I'm probably the umpteenth person to ask this, sorry, but was wondering if the game itself could be contained within the iPhone/iPod Touch: with gameplay itself in the background (i.e. not shown), the iPhone/iPod Touch onscreen controls show as they do.. the trick would be a wireless or tethered connection to a display to then show that background game leaving the iPhone/iPod Touch to display controls, but everything's happening on the iPhone/iPod Touch's processor.

I can use a PSP as a better controller for my PS3 games on a real HDTV. But can I use my iPhone/iPad for playing PSP or PS3 games? Don't think so..... Stevie'd be screaming about how crappy the PS3 looks on iPad. :P But since it's blue tooth, why mess w/ an iPhone to control the iPad? You could use a Sixaxis or DualShock 3 controller for that? Oh yeah, I remember Apple hates Google, Adobe and I'm sure Sony as well. Since they stole those motion sensor ideas from them years ago! xD Sue em Jobs!

Wow a 3D side scroller! So hey? Can't use an iPad to make a call, so how about playing a FLASH version on Facebook, while you're chatting to your buddies on Xfire or Vivox Voice Call to phone? Oh :O No FLASH or Java for totally free gaming & phone calls.. eh? Sorry!

@barkerja The iPhone's a success. The iPad isn't yet. One month on market w/ a severely crippled Wifi device says nothing. Especially when you we all know how Apple (& every device manufacturer today) overhypes their products by reported shipped to retailers as sold. Sony did w/ PS3 & got busted at tax time. When sales weren't up to reports. Microsoft did it w/ Xbox 360 & Nintendo did it w/ Wii, along w/ Apple & it's iPhone. Apple was just smarter this time. Launched iPad after fiscal year end!

@barkerja That's NOT sold out the door to customers paying TAXES! Sorry to bust your bubble, but iPads are reported as sold the moment they are shipped. There is no way they can gather sales info instantly on actual sales Nationwide. They just can't & no one has ever been able to keep that information current. It's impossible!

There are outlets or retailers that don't even report actual sales for months and for many it's at least 1 month. Online sales? Yes! They are tracked. Store sales? No!

но вот такая связь только между эйпловскими продуктами ни чего не даст. Я не думаю что во много раз удобней играть айфоном в айпадовские игры, они же не заточены под подобие джойстика, (кстати дуалшок напоминает чем то по функцианалу). акселерометр есть в айпаде?
