Marty, you are my guitar hero, and I know you know the difference between "than" and "then," so you must need a copy editor. Another terrific lesson even with the typo.

For all those who cant manage an F chord, try an F7 first. That is the open F chord with the high e string open. It is a lot easier to play for us beginners and sounds pretty stinking close. Then (than?) you can move up to a true open F chord, or maybe even move up to a barre F.

If it is zero that means that you are playng open string fuck hell. X-means you are not playng that string fuck sake.
