I didn't say I'd invented it, just thought it might be fun to show. I've never heard it called a "scrape", I've never heard "it" called anything, I've just seen other drummers do it - but because this technique involves literally splitting double strokes from one sound source to another, I thought "Split Doubles" might just work as a title....silly me if I'm wrong...btw. were has an "h"
@mexicanpoptart17 Actually, the scrape, or "sweep" is a tenor drum term, not a drumset term. Besides, if it helps someone learn something new, who cares?

Umm, that was invented so long ago it's not funny. And btw. It's called a scrape. Were you scrape side to side or up and down.
