This is the best netbook for game freaks who just cant go out without a game. Its like having a netbook that performs regular surfing, web processing etch.. while being able to play old games on high setting and newer games (not too new) in mid-low settings

I'm new to netbooks and I'm looking to buy one of these. I know the ION is good a GPU but what about the atom processor? How does it compare to a regular notebook processor (say a Core 2 T6500 or something along those lines)

No comparison. If you're looking for a light weight laptop for surfing the net, word docs and that kind of stuff, this will do very well. If you want a gaming rig and absolutely need a DVD ROM, then this is not the machine for you. I have an Asus 1000HA and love it. I also picked up this mini 311 today.

@sm1tty5569 lol unfortunately performance on an Atom processor is ALMOST as good as a Pentium M processor but MUCH slower than a Single Core Pentium 4 chip.
