I KNEW that sounded familiar...I subscribed to mrelevatorman and watched that video previously...that is a very nice design and it looks like it is NOT too difficult to build AND very efficient! I like the simplicity and I can see modifications I want to make...but I have to finish my first gasifier before going radical!
Thank for sharing both your victories and struggles. I do the same thing of taking videos I learn so much from the comments of others, and when I take time to look back I see how far I have come as well.
I was thinking perhaps you could get a clay pot for liner Looking at the victory gas setup he has insulation. I was thinking hmm could one make a clay pot or use clay for a liner..... to put inside the bottom for protection of the barrel.... I have been thinking about the large clay flower pots you can get for the bottom. Just an idea...... I was thinking one could make a custom made setup out of clay... I was also thinking why not just use a large dirt pile and then shape it.
