@cobraqueen441 not all of them remove the fangs, sew the mouth shut or remove venom glands. theres a way to train them they take a block of wood that looks like there instrament and when the snake bits it it heerts (bo perminint damage) the snake assosates the instrument with pain and dosnt strike for it also if you handle a snake engh you can make him some what dossil i love snakes (i know its spelled wrong )
@cobraqueen441 they do not always do that for instance in punjab it is harder finding cobras and want to preserve venom one of my grandparents was about to be a snake charmer but he could not play a pungi anyway he would never think of taking out the fangs also the government offers no jobs to these people the only job they can do is this one
They don't take out the poison, they torture the snake by pulling out the fangs without pain killers, glue the mouth shut, and feed it milk or something through the opening in the glued mouth. It's sad really cuz the snake eventually dies.
So glad we have you around to fill people in on the truth, stupid dipshit. You also suck at spelling and all your uploaded vids suck. ROBLOX is also a children's game for preteens, in case your mom didn't tell you.
If you cut off and file down the snake's fangs correctly you don't need to sew the mouth shut. If it manages to bite the charmer it can't pierce the skin and thus can't envenomate. I've talked to several Indian charmers who follow this method.
@EntropicMisanthropic- What is your problem? I was just mad how they torture the snake. My dad told me about what I commented. And who fuck'n cares if ROBLOX is for preteens, it's for everyone. No duh my uploads suck, I just post them for my friends, I don't just say, "HEY EVERYONE, CHECK OUT MY AWESOME VIDEOS!"
Anything else you have to bad comment on me about?
Although still performed in India, other parts of Asia, and North Africa, snake charming as a profession has declined in recent years because of wildlife protection laws and broader public knowledge about the reptiles. Snakes kept by charmers may have their teeth removed, venom ducts burst, and mouths sewn shut. ... snakes are virtually deaf."
@desiapollo Second part is true. The cobra is kept in darkness in the basket so the shock of being pulled into light makes it confused and cautious. It also doesn't flee because it spends most of its time inside the basket and considers it to be it's den. The waving back and forth motion of the pipe further confuses the snake, so it assumes a defensive posture (puffed up and standing tall) and waits to see if the predator (the flute) comes too close.
Venom is produced by a gland in the snake's jaw, located behind the fang, which contracts when the snake bites, pumping the poison through the tooth and into the wound. If you remove the glands, they are unable to produce more venom. It's not so much "sucking it out" as preventing it from being produced in the first place.
Bastard could still give you one hell of a bite though, even without the envenoming.
The cobra does not raise its head to the tune of the pipe; in fact it cannot hear; it raises its head to the movement of the pipe; snakes become alert when they see movement
he's kind of a crappy snake charmer, musically speaking.

Snakes have inner ears that pick up low frequency vibrations as well as their bones. I'm sure the snake's entire body is feeling the music

first of all..all its poison has been sucked out...secondly it's entranced by the charmers movements...so hardly any risk...

The first is sometimes true, not always.

Impossible, that's like saying all your saliva can be sucked out.
