Because he doesn't go for the highlight plays and he's not selfish, so he doesn't put up 35+ a game like Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Melo. He does what he has to do for his team to win, he let's others score as well which is why he doesn't put up those "all-star" numbers like the kobe's and lebron's and melo's.
JJ left Phoenix, close to a ring, for playing time and money in Atlanta(one of the worst teams in the NBA at the time). Media people, and fans, question his killer instinct and heart when he's only had one "big chance". Is he really too passive? Time will tell. He's very underrated primarily because he isn't an explosive in-game player. He rarely, if ever, dunks and uses mostly skill, not athleticism, to beat opponents. New school fans don't appreciate that. Personally, I love him.
EXACTLY! Im glad someone sees it besides me. Hes like one of them old school players out there but hes still effective. If i had a quarter for everytime i saw him dunk, i would have 75 cents. lol
@nombreesizzyt i think he doesnt dunk anymore cuz hes afraid of gettin injured again like he did in Phoenix nd he wanted 2 stay in Phoenix dey wanted to sell him tho well at least dats wat dat documentary of him said
no i'm a diehard hawks fan and i watch almost every game...he has the killer instinct but his humble and quiet confidence cause him to be misunderstood
huh. how exactly does it make him misunderstood.. his humbleness make him pass the ball more in crunch time thus solidifying point that he doesnt have a killer instinct?
he doesnt do that in EVERY game...i would know cause i watch most hawks games to know that he is often double and triple teamed by defenders so sometimes he doesnt have a choice but like i said he doesnt do it during crunch time in EVERY game. if u need an example of what im talkin about look at this vid watch?v=22LrsQLQsgk&feature=channel_page
wow your comment just goes to show how little you know about hawks basketball. i mean you dont even know the coach's name! who is williams?? his name is woodson...how did u get willams outta woodson
he is a very good player people think he is overrated but hes not i personally think that carmello is over-rated but that is my opinion think what u want.......
Atlanta has a really good roster now, and with a veteran PG in Bibby they could go good things in the next few years. Bibby, Johnson, Williams, Smith, Horford, Childress, Law...if they make a couple of smart moves in the offseason they could do some serious damage for once.
The man lets his play do all the talking. JJ will be recognized as a gifted athlete. Love the video, music and highlights. This proves how dangerous JJ is and why he's an All-Star.
I think he is just as athletic as Tmac is and is a little thicker. He might be the one player who can even attempt to match the body of Lebron on the court 1 on 1.
2 words OVER PAID!!!!!!!
If Joe is worth 120 million then Kobe Wade lebron are worth 200 million
Sheesh I thought Rashard Lewis was over paid

Joe Johnson just resigned baby!!! Whooo!!!!! Thank God! Larry D is gonna bring us the ring.
Excellent choice of music. My all time favorite Andre 3000 verse. Such a sick rhythm too.

has all the tools.
can dribble, shot, pass, defend, rebound
just missing the killer instinct
should be a top 5 guy.

if he was explosive like LeBron or Kobe and could jump like them....WHEW.. He'd be unstoppable.

JJ is a top 2 guard. IMO the top 2 guards are Kobe Bryant
Manu Ginobli
Dwayne Wade
Joe Johnson
Brandon Roy
