ps3. I had an xbox 360 the day it came out. And got a ps3 the day it came out. The xbox 360 within a matter of a few months got that stupid red light. My ps3 still works. Still bought another ps3 only because memory. But it's a matter of opinion. They're both equally good. one has this the other doesn't but then it's countered by the other having something else that this one doesn't. Both have great games. And both get updated frequently.

well i would get a ps3 its better with bluray, no RROD it even has free live, bluetooth, six axis conrtroller, faster, more reliable, even has an internet browser, 3d virtual live world (kind of like the sims) dont need to pay for internet, bulit in adaptor usb slots up to 6 on some models!!!! depends on the fat or slim version, card slots, plug in any keyboard, headset games like God of war 3, resistance 2, warhawk, Little Big Planet,Mgs4,Resident evil 5, Grantaurismo 5 prolouge...

bluray is scratch resistant, unless you take a knife and scrap it across the back, but with your finernails and such its extemely hard to scratch them...i have about 15 ps3 games and none of them are scratched...theyre in brand new condition except with a few fingerprints

it depends on what you are, if are a casual gamer the ps3 is for you, if you are a hard core gamer the X box is for you. The truth is whatever game system you are comfortable with buy it if have the money.

how did you come up with that theory? Why would a casual gamer buy a 400$ gaming system if he plays on it maybe once/twice a week. I'd say it depends on many things. Probably the first one being money you like to spend, or if you really want to have blu-ray, or if you rather want to play gears instead of killzone, or if you have a full hd tv, etc.

Kinda off there mate, if you're casual Wii's the way to go, if you're hardocore either PS3 or 360's your thing, I recommend the PS3 due to free online and NO REGION LOCK OUT, you can import games from Thailand for all I care and it runs OK, including online. The exclusives are really good and almost every single game on the 360 also comes out for the PS3, not to mention it runs video files and DVDs from the box, a hardocre gamer's dream, mine at least. XD
