There's something a bit weird about the purity balls but if it's what they want to do, well, it's a free country.

I love the way our culture doesn't bully you into living a certain way, at least not as much, these days. In the past a man had to marry in order to be taken seriously but these days it's not even relevant. It's allowed me to skip the whole drag factor of supporting a wife or paying child support and live my own life, get debt free and have about 2600 a month in excess income.

2. I don't hate women or anything, I just don't bother with them very often. Once I went past 40 I have less and less reason to participate in the whole dating mess. My list girlfriend was over 2 years ago and I don't miss her or dating one bit. I can see why women in their 30's are starting to have trouble finding husbands. It's because guys my age are just starting to enjoy life and we start realizing we don't want to disrupt it by letting some aging crazy woman into our lives.

3. People seem to think a guy who isn't married doesn't have what they call a "life", but I disagree. I seem to be happier and more energetic than most of the married guys I work with.

My next step is to keep saving heavily then in about 18 months I'll sell this totally paid off condo, add my savings and buy a house (mortgage free) on an acre or so, within commute distance from work. Then start a big permaculture garden, get a couple roommates who like gardening, and live happily ever after.
