85 is last straight front axle for 4runner.. only 84 and 85 have straight front axle

My brother told me in Australia (where we are) 84 was the last of the solid axle. But eh, who cares about small details like 1 year.

No, 2L (2.4 Diesel). Its now got a DTS Turbo and goes way better. Beats the hell out of V8's now offroad
