    I'm Jennifer...

    I'm 17 ...

And I can't go to a Styx concert coming up because I'm TOO YOUNG.

I think my name and age should be enough for me to get in. :P

  • omg!! I'm Jennifer... I'm 17 ... and I'm in love with this song! :D

  • STYX--''JENNIFER''

  • 1st off,whos name ISN'T Jennifer?

I love Styx, but this is not their best song, even though it IS my name : )

Chrystal Ball and Suite Madame Blue are my Favs.

Mr. Roboto was my 1st record !~which I played on my red,Mickey Mouse, suitcase record player when I was 9 years old. hehe, good times.

  • One of the best lead guitar riffs ever

  • my dauther name is jennifer and it because styx too :))))))) love them love them xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  • They were always one of my favoirite bands growing up but then agian I was born in '63. in 1980 i paid 15$ for a floor seat at concert that was cancelled becuase dennis de young had larigitis.

  • I'm kinda giggling at all the "my name is Jennifer comments"- even though i AM another Jennifer too. i mean the name was the number 1 girls name in the US for 3 straight decades....there's a lot of us. it aint that special. :P

  • I believe this song also wasn't popular because it sounds like a repeat of "Put Me On" which opens the album.

  • @MrsJenSimpson wow really!

  • styxnre rush and queen kind of made this ge

  • great song I saw their first big show in toronto when their tour started for grand illusion.

  • Who exactly did "Jennifer" refer to? The song was written by Dennis DeYoung. However, there's scatting after each chorus.

  • I believe it had to do with styx lead singer and his ex was jennifer......jennifer and he never ended back togeher.....so he made a song for her....

  • AWESOME SONG! Listen to this while staring at my baby Jennifer Runyon!

  • Love your daughter, she will be special. I almost named my daughter Jennifer due to this song but ended out with Megan.

  • i used to sing this song to my wife her name be: jennifer

  • i love this song ahah ;D

  • my name is jennifer :) :)

  • That's cool! They actually made a song about my name too, but unfortunately, it keeps getting censored everytime I try to post it. It's called "Christopher, Mr. Christopher" Does anyone want to guess what my name is? Haha, I'm just kidding. It's a good song though, off the Man of Miracles album. Look it up if you get the chance. :)

  • Would love to hear this one again. It is an excellent song. Almost impossible to say best since so many of theirs fight for top honors.

  • @StyxFan93 Dude, that album ROCKED. "He took the baby Jesus, in his arms, across the waterfall. People cried, "He's holy. He's a saint not aman.."

  • @StyxFan93 Dude, that album ROCKED. "He took the baby Jesus, in his arms, across the waterfall. People cried, "He's holy. He's a saint not aman.."

  • @StyxFan93 Submit a dispute form. Theres plenty of videos to submit one in case you don't know how to.

  • @StyxFan93 LOVE Christopher Mr. Christopher. Wonder why they keep removing it?

  • @gspendlove don't know why?

  • @linscott63 no why?

  • Lol.. mine is too.. it's kinda weird hearing my name in a song :)

  • @xxJebsterxx My name is Jennifer too!!! Never knew there was a song after my name! Only ever heard 867-5309 (Jenny) :P And I do NOT go by Jenny...only Jennifer or Jen :)

  • LOL named my daughter Jennifer after this song in 1979 ....she didnt believe me but now i got proof!

  • alot of competition back then...heavy metal was just finding its roots in Grand Funk.

  • This is such a great song. Thank you so much for posting!!!

  • the sad thing is they are so underrated as a band, listen to the harmonies of vocals and guitars and the cool riffs and drum beats. I mean they are epic, but unfortunately they don't get as much recognition as they deserve.

  • I couldn't agree more. I always thought they were a great band, and music was their specialty. I also believe that they are extremely underrated, and they get tons of undeserving criticism, and I don't know why. It seems like a trend, like one person did it so everyone followed. Oh well, regardless, I still adore them and love their music. Thanks everyone for all the views and comments!!

    -StyxFan93

  • Not "everyone" criticised them. 40 million albums sold and sold out concerts for years & years. And Styx and DDY are still going strong. Millions of us were out there loving and supporting Styx. The naysayers be DAMNED!

  • By "everyone" I didn't literally mean "everyone". You are correct, they did have a lot of support during their prime and still do. It just seems like a lot of people who aren't familiar with their work just listen to the media and agree with what ever nonsense is put in front of them. If they hear a few bad remarks from someone they might go ahead and start doing it too. It just seems, to me, that there are a lot more people who don't necessarily like Styx maybe than there should be.

  • @StyxFan93 Well one of the things about people and Styx is they hear Mr. Roboto(which is a great song, but an odd song) and they go eww, this is Styx? But hardly any of them know songs like Jennifer, or Christopher, Mr. Christopher,(which btw is arguably my favourite song on the Man of Mircales Album.) Thanks for uploading the songs :)

  • lmao, this song relates to my girlfriend so well.

  • I ADORE this song--who ever u are styx fan--thank u!!! I honestly don't know why this is my absolute FAV Styx song?!!! I have loved it since I was a soph in high school!!!!!!!!!! Saw them in concert in 80"s like 16x's!!!!!!! Thank's again!!!!!!!
