the sad thing is they are so underrated as a band, listen to the harmonies of vocals and guitars and the cool riffs and drum beats. I mean they are epic, but unfortunately they don't get as much recognition as they deserve.

I couldn't agree more. I always thought they were a great band, and music was their specialty. I also believe that they are extremely underrated, and they get tons of undeserving criticism, and I don't know why. It seems like a trend, like one person did it so everyone followed. Not "everyone" criticised them. 40 million albums sold and sold out concerts for years & years. And Styx and DDY are still going strong. Millions of us were out there loving and supporting Styx. The naysayers be DAMNED!

By "everyone" I didn't literally mean "everyone". You are correct, they did have a lot of support during their prime and still do. It just seems like a lot of people who aren't familiar with their work just listen to the media and agree with what ever nonsense is put in front of them. If they hear a few bad remarks from someone they might go ahead and start doing it too. It just seems, to me, that there are a lot more people who don't necessarily like Styx maybe than there should be.
