They're nothing like a7x, so you might want to take another listen. This is a good band. If you don't like this you don't like good music. It is an acquired taste because the vocal style is so unique but the payoff is well worth it. A7X was mediocre at its peak, and are unworthy to be mentioned side-by-side with this band, let alone alluded to in the comments :p
