Words cant explain how proud i am to live in a great community like frgo/morhead! It so amasing how we can all come to geter and helping each other! We didnt need help from the National gard we almaost did it all our selves. There was peole and kids of every age and evey place helping. We are strong enought to clean up mother natures mess and stay untited throuh it.
I agree fully. I haven't been able to see all these different flood things yet. The Discovery Middle School 8th graders were at Sandbag Central for the one day before school was called off, that's the first time in history that the 8th grade was called to help. It was overwhelming how many people wanted to be out helping the community instead of wasting time in class. The only thing anyone thought about was getting out into the sandbag lines. I get emotional just thinking about how great we are.
i live near the oak grove neighborhood helped sandbag there for a week straight to surround the entire neighborhood with a 4 foot wall of sandbaggs extremely proud to live here
I just wanted to say how wonderful it was to see all the ppl helping to save a town, I am from wadena mn i came up to help ppl who have a chance to save there houses and it just made me feel so good to help ppl who really need it, i got to meet lots of new ppl and it was one of the most uplifting experiences i have ever had, Thank you all for the help, Lets all chip in for a nice hard workin day!!!! :)
I'm so proud to be from Fargo. The community is full of heroes coming together to do what is necessary, but also what is right. I'm so sorry I couldn't come back to help. I love you, Fargo!!! Stay strong!!!
"God will never place an obstacle in front of you that He cannot help you through."
THIS is what AMERICA is all about. It's not about who leads and the issues we argue about. It's about rolling up the shirtsleeves and getting it done!
You guys are sure busting butt. The nation is praying that your work bears fruit. The cleanup effort is going to be amazing, I am planning on donating a few saturdays when that time comes.
you did a great job on these videos. you really captured not only the devastation of this flood, but also the reason we live here; the oustanding people. people elsewhere never get to see this. i live in fargo and you did an awesome job!
This shows that no matter who you are, family, friends, neighbors, strangers or enemies, that everyone is able to throw the bad in the past and except the challenge of competition against any disaster. This shows that in no matter WHAT lays ahead, that everyone will always have everyone's support and belief that by sticking together, things will get accomplished! It's an unbelievable site seeing the young working with the old, and how the community will always have those to count on!
Once again, great video. I have to admit I was choked up. My fiance and I are both from Fargo and Bismarck and are stuck in Michigan so we are unable to make it back home to help. Keep up the amazing work...this is such a great representation of the incredible people in North Dakota. There are few places across the country that would have come together like this in such a great time of need. I've never been more proud to be a North Dakotan! God bless you all, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
THATS MY CITY! love everybody. its hard watching this and knowing it couldhappen again. :) please pray

what's the name of this song/selection? Awesome video!!

The song is taken from the soundtrack of the movie Apollo 13 - it's a very somber, but uplifting song.

As the federal goverment urges Fargo - Moorhead leaders to evacuate. The people of the community stand and fight.
