What size of filters fit this camera? I have 30.5 and a 37mm neither fits, so it is somewhere in between. I contacted JVC and still did not get the answer I wanted. Grrrr!

i just bought the JVC Everio GZ-HM30U and this camera is nothing short of amazing, it has both standard 480 or 720HD abilities, easy to use extremely lightweight and the 40x 80x and 200x zoom of this camera will blow away any other camera with that zoom and costing 3x more than the price of this jvc, iam usually a samsung guy but this JVC has really impressed me and i couldnt ask for anything more, really giving the competition a run for their money and price tag!

@lizfinney nope, no remote, and after using the camera for a week the battery would only hold a charge for 15 min, and made a noise when you would swtich from record to playback..... and would vibrate as well... first impressions with this camera were amazing like my comment above, but after using it and having that many issues i brought it back, dont know if i just got the bad one of the bunch or not, but i would save your money and go with samsung or cannnon

yeah 80 gigs is large for storage, but wait til you start filming in 1080p those 80 gigs will be eaten up pretty quickly

Hi,Cool camcorder,But a bit outdated when it come's to shooting video,Ive had 2 JVC camcorder's,and TBH ive been ok with them but not too impressed when it come's to Video quality,I may be wrong but this but i thought that your father would have gone for a Hi Def camcorder,and i think the guy in the shop was wrong to sell you this camcorder knowing that the kodak had better Quality,Don't get me wrong,I am glad to see that you have a new camcorder for YT,But let's see you shoot video,Do A Review
