Offspringta i don't understand what you are saying, i have been a fan of the band for many years, through thick and thin, i like pretty much everything thay have accomplished. You say that you liked splinter and the direction it was going, and you say that RAF dissapointed you? Rise and fall was clearly the next step after splinter, if you ask me i'd say songs like "stuff is messed up" and "OC life" are much more aggressive than anything on splinter. If its hardcore punk you're after try B.Flag.

HOWEVER, even if the offspring went back to their 'splinter' sound, i'd be satisfied. they seemed to be going in an agressive, still punk direction with that album (with some different but still good songs, too), and then rfrg came out, which was one of the most disappointing things in my life.
