@dragon825 Hi Dragon sorry but the Stolly had a 6,516 cc straight 8, Rolls Royce B81 petrol engine with a small 220 HP, not a 8 litre. Although you are right with the spanners, in my eyes it was the best bit of Army kit i ever had. Yours Jim

sry a mistake. the weight of the stolly fv623mk2 is 11t. carry 5t on land and 3 in the water. gears. 4 forward and 4 backwarts.

8 litre engine, had to tie spanners to your wrist when working on it because if you dropped it, it was gone!!! cracking bit of kit

no they got rid of them in the early 90`s it was a sad day when we de-comissioned them. many a fond memory of going on exercise in germany in them.
