@LostYearsProd It was shot with a borrowed Sony DCR-SX41 handycam. It's good for in terms of ease-of-use, but it sucks at pretty much everything else. Looking at getting a Vixia HF200 soon. Thanks for the comment!
@alfonsotan The Canon looks really good. If you want more intense footage you should look into the HD Hero by go pro. It is really impressive. There are some good videos on youtube from USC ski club.
@LostYearsProd Funny you mention that; I was thinking about getting one for motorsports use. I just saw some of that USC ski footy, it's really impressive. It seems like a camera that would be hard to use and pass around to the homies though because there's not view screen or LCD display.
@alfonsotan Yeah it does fall short in that area. I think it would be handy as a secondary camera for not so ideal shooting conditions. I use a dvx100b right now. It's SD but it does the job.
