teh wax is essentially a pertoleum based feul. When the cola is touched by the hiot glass it becomes steam which areosolizes the wx which is allready at a flash point and when enough oxyegen interacts with the areosolized wax from the cola steam it ignites. There is alos energy provided by the sugars in the cola as well as the carbonation providing more of aresolizeing effect which help to facilitate the reaction.
@Iwantedtoknow16802 I so wish you said that without those redicoulas "slangs". You would sound so smart seeing as you are fairly right. The basic principle is that a liquid fuel is sprayed out in the air at a really hot temprate and when its thinly spread out enough, they quickly vapourizes and ignites. It's the same concept as in a combustion-engine -- as we are not puring down gas into the machinery, but spray it so it easier will vapourize into a gas form.

That would work with any coolant, the coke just immediatly supercools the wax making it shoot out of the tube. This will even work with water instead of coke ;)
