Ah, but the burden of proof does not lie with me does it? Conventional wisdom dictates that these, not so secret societies do not in fact run the world. Logic would dictate that I do not have to disprove something that has in no way been proven. I am a huge fan of Dystopian fiction. Blade Runner and the Philip K Dick novel it's based on are excellent examples of the genre. I love them both dearly, but I feel their intentions are being misconstrued. I absolutely love the atmosphere of this movie. Plus and good/evil is more blurred, which I think is deeper than most films. It's the attachment to the hero or the villain that makes it important, not the battle between good and evil. The attachment can be very strong. At times I felt deeply moved by deckard, and at other times I felt sympathy for the replicants. I get this general feeling that so much evil goes on that noeone good or bad has a monopoly on it. Probably some of the symbols in the film were more intentional than others--some certainly are occultic, but some of the others (Deckard is making a pyramid with his chopsticks?) are probably not. Take it with a grain of salt.
