The captain has been arrested, it was HIS fault. He went too near to the island, at 150 meters, while he should've been at 5 miles (!!!!).If you are blaming italians, well just to let you know, the crew of this kind of ships is made of people coming from different nations. Yes, the captain did an huge mistake, but other officiers helped to save many people's lifes. Read about "Manrico Giampedroni", he was trapped in the ship for 36 hours just because he saved other people.
