I have an problem, when I click the red button (the one that changes the functions of moevement or excavation. When I click that red button, it does seizes D: I think it's because there not enough power to change the gear, but I used the newest battareyes. That's kinda really pisses me off, because I have to change the gear values by manual switch... Please help me, what I need to do?
P0wN3D234 go to legos homepage, products, technic, and in the blog or somewhere there should read something about it. i have this set too, and it doesnt want to lift the main arm, it`s a construction problem.

I got this for chrstmas this year and built it yesterday... placed the turning thingy (dot know the english word) upside down, between the upper and lower part.. It turnd out problematic to fix!
It works great, a bit lack of power, but still enough to lift itself so I can climp ontop of 10-15 cm tall boxes! :D
@TheBoogymannn it was only the 3rd lego I have made in the last 10 years and it was no problem. Just make sure you follow the instructions well. One little mistake can be very hard to fix because you probably wont notice until the end.
@bansheebiker i have a problem with it i build everything exact and the movement works but the front bit the bagger or whatever doesent move ? should i start all over ??
@minilegostein Just to make the Video shorter. There are lots of videos of it running at actual speed on youtube. Faster does make It More Realistic though.
@MrTrainfanatic Well depends what your expectations are.. You want to dig up your garden or do you want a wonderfully interesting model for a desk? Im super impressed with the engineering and the building experience. Its the most impressive lego machine I have ever built. Others were disappointed in the actual function speed but I was impressed it all worked. If your looking for a RC excavator to play with im sure there are better options.
how long did it take u to built the excavator

@nunchuck19 I don't know.. mine had Grey tracks. I have had no problems with them. Metallic tracks would be Really cool.

@bansheebiker i wish it was like the rubber tracks from abrams tanks leo2s etc. so u cant still connect it but it has more grip.
