I Agree the celtics are a great team, but don't count out the Lakers their way tougher from 2008 Pau showed he can match up with a man 10x tougher than him when he matched up against DH12. The Lakers this year also have a big 3 to counter Bostons. Artest Vs Pierce, Artest will be on Pierce like glue giving Kobe to mess around with Allen. And with Bynum our young center which can be named in the same sentence as Rondo will help a lot. Once we're all healthy we'll show the celtics we're not weak.

Im sorry but the Lakers have proven themselves enough that they can match up with the elites, after sweeping both Boston and Cleveland in the season(Note: Cleveland was undefeated at home before the Lakers beat them and Boston was on a crazy winning streak before they lost at staples center) Then they went on to defeat the Orlando Magic 4-1 and limited super mans plays extensivley. I don't think they have anything to prove bro. All they got to do now is show that they can be named with Boston

Every team has their own kinds of fans, Celtic fans are known to be poor sports as well. Utah Fans are byfar the worst fans I've seen, and Lakerfans are also annoying, its true. And eachelite team like Boston, LA, Orlando have bandwagoners. But there also true fans who have stuck with the team no matter how times might be hard. Too bad though their cheers are usually drowned out by the number of cheers the bandwagoners throw out. Each elite team has them and will continue to until the team fails

and to smegma24. Jordan and Pippen played during the time when Kobe was two years into the league. Had they played the 1999-2000 Lakers it probably would have been different. Kobe and Michael. of course Michael would have a good serious. but kobe would do a lot better. Shaq would dominate in the paint against Longley causing foul trouble. good match up between rice and pippen. and i think the lakers had larger depth. so i think they would have given the bulls trouble.

Shaq didn't win those rings by himself even if he won the mvp of the finals 3 times because if he couldve then he would have done it in orlando. Shaq had the team to win it just like he did in Miami. if u look at the laker teams that won those championships they were deep. When they faced the Pistons they didnt have the same depth. yea they had an aging Malone and Payton. Kobe, Shaq. but their bench: Walton, Fisher, Bryon Russell, Rush, Slava, Pargo, Fox, and Cook. it wasn't the same. no bench
