It doesn't matter if the videos long or short, if people cant follow it, it failed. If it were short and well explained no one would complain. Try giving examples BEFORE explaining positions ("here's what it sounds like/looks like, now this is how you do it.") People in general learn a lot better by following example than by listening, especially with something like guitar.
