Every time people raise the question on God being merciful it's always phrased something like 'How could a merciful, loving, good God send people to hell?' But this is only one side of the coin. God is loving and merciful and good; the ultimate good in fact. Nevertheless He is holy and just, so the other side of the coin is how could a holy, just God not condemn and punish sinners?
