  • @magicandmagik try doing the corner, edge and center mod. it works great for both two handed and one handed solves. theres some videos by izovire of the mods

  • @C53H well thx dude

  • how to make your cube faster.....

Step 1.: buy a Dayan Zhanchi

    Step 2. enjoy

  • @C53H my zhanchi is getting weird.. any advice?

  • was that skillet?

  • WTF I made mine so fast I was flicking it so fast the whole top shot off, including the center piece!!!

  • @17zambre This occasionally happens.

  • Hey my cousin tried this and it worked but when i tried it I just can't put the middle peace back in!!!!! can you show me how to put the middle peace back in easly.

  • @Jkballtommy Make sure your top is turned 45 degrees. Sorry for the 5 month late reply.

  • @BillyJSkateAway Well, it doesn't matter any more. I am much more smarter about things in cubing. Yeah... that probably didn't make sense. But i meant to say thats im more into cubing.

  • Are there any lubricants that does not mess up the cube?

  • @kiemul136 WD40, but Vaseline makes the cube faster. You just have to be able to by a new cube every 2 or 3 months.

  • @BillyJSkateAway WD40 does mess it up.... a lot.

  • @TheChampion613 I have never had WD40 mess up a cube and I've been cubing for over 4 years.

  • @BillyJSkateAway ok.

then i guess you bought a special cube that is impervious to WD40. Buy a new one, spray some WD40 in it. Not just a little, but a lot. Then tell me what happens to it over time. Just search around the internet about what WD40 does to your Rubik's Cube, seriously. 3 of my Rubik's Cubes have been screwed up because of WD40. It doesn't help it at all, only harms it. Don't use WD40 unless you want to destroy your cube.

  • @TheChampion613 The chemical make up of WD40 does not react with plastic or metal over the course of any amount of time. However, if your cube is causing such friction that extremely small pieces of plastic are being grinded inside your cube, then those pieces are gathering where you sprayed your WD40, that could slow down your cube. These extremely rare cases can be solved by either A, grinding down the pieces and cleaning them before you apply the WD40, or B, buying a cube that doesn't grind.

  • @BillyJSkateAway i took it apart and sprayed the pieces individually. They have cracks on them from where I sprayed the WD40. I can post a video if you want me too. They were store bought cubes. The cubes didn't grind. The WD40 ate away at the plastic. This happened with 3 cubes that i had. It also made one of the cores loose.

Don't use WD40 because you will basically be wasting WD40 when you could be using something more reliable such as Silicone Spray.WD40 shouldn't be used for cubes

  • does this vid have sound??

  • @seppel1996 Youtube messed up the sound. Sorry.

  • What are u using?

  • @KevinRooney123 A Wal-Mart Rubik's Cube and Vaseline.

  • vasoline eats away at your rubiks cube get crc heavy duty silicone spray

  • WHO KNOWS WHERE TO GET PURE SILICONE SPRAY?!?!??!?!!!?!?!?/ thanks

  • @bboydreamer96 auto shops

  • what about wd 40

  • @yotzincastrejon dont use wd 40!!!!!!

  • I tried Jelly LOL!

  • can't hear him

  • combine petroleum jelly and mineral oil for the best Rubik's cube movement

    I PROMISE : )

  • I'm sorry but patroleum jelly slowly were down the cube. Pure silicon is the way to go.

  • if it dissolves the plastic thats a good thing.. it makes it moved qith less friction

  • then your cube starts to pop every turn...

  • @IMakeVidsAboutRS dude after a while ur cubes gonna fall apart. and petroleum jelly is heavy and it'll leak

  • its called baby lotion its the best

  • silicone is better. house hold products like vasilin and baby lotion desolves the plastic

  • yes it disolves a microscopic layer of plastic.

  • @SYKWYDIT but it still works right?

  • it does still somewhat work but you get full results using silicone spray. those vasiline products can ruin your puzzle. however some people use vasiline to break in a cube then they clean it out. just a matter of preference i guess. but if you want to no for some reason i dont use vasiline at all

  • you people are stupid ... read his annotation

  • dude he cant talke as he said youtube ruined his vid so every 1 shut up and read

  • Is it just me, or is there no sound?

  • Watta!!!

  • Next time, cut back on the music and talk please.

  • Thanks????

  • you know it would help alot better if you talk.

  • ummmmmm what the fuck i dont know wat the fuck you just did except make it look like your were giving the cube pleasure 0.o(if that is posible)

  • I can'ttake up my bricks, what can i do? Please help!

  • where can i buy my 4x4x4x rubi.cube cheap!?

  • Wal-Mart

  • google shopping

  • @MORDEKAIZ

    lightake.com

  • 2 words hell no!

  • dont go so fucking dfast

  • DO NOT PUT LOTS OF PETROLEUM JELLY!!

  • Comment removed

  • anyone knows how to make the 4x4 cube smoother?

  • ummm.... get an eastsheen? the rubix 4x4 are not the best. eastsheen moves way smoother out of the package.

  • you spelled Rubiks wrong

  • So what? that's my secrete way to spell rubiks (and secrete is the secrete way to spell secret) OoOoOoOoOoh!

  • oh......

  • Rubik's imo

  • same thing

  • how much do you file down the centers

  • Vaseline works perfect. I fixed over 5 cubes, and it works perfect. Everyone loves their cubes, and mine has been like this for two months, and it still moves like a charm. I did not know about the shaving trick though!

  • just wait in about 3 months the inside will look terrible and much later you will realise you've wasted 5 or more cubes

  • Do you wanna make a bet on that?? I have had mine for over 4 months, and it looks perfect.. I don't know where you get your facts..

  • if you watch thrawsts videos he'll tell you and if you search "why petroleum jelly is bad for your cube" you will see and iv wasted 2 cubes with petroleum jelly

  • Dont use petrolium Jelly EVER. It just destroys your cube. Ask someone smart. they'll tell you Petrolium Jelly/Vaseline eats at plastic.

  • dumb!!!!

  • Yes it does, but it takes a few months to wearout the cube. During those few months that the cube has Vaseline or petrolium jelly the cube is lightning fast! I think it is worth the five or ten bucks every three or four months just to have the speed..

  • @wildcats202 Yeah. It does dissolve it. My cube completely fell apart one day while I was using it, and I knew the reason. :P

  • @Roadrashmonkey Yeah, but it takes a few months.

  • not if you clean out the vassaline first

  • hey it works thx man!

  • Sure thing.

  • Use vassaline for a month then clean out and put silicone\/Jigaloo

  • I accidentaly forgot the order of the cubes and it is unsolved

  • then take apart the whole thing and put it back together

  • when i used the jelly my cube got very stiff and then when i turned it all the pieces fell off the cube

  • use CRC Sillicone lube. I use the red can, but I also saw someone use the green can, but you can get the red one in the hardware department of Wal-Mart

  • Those are the 1 dollor ones! I have bought the $3 and the $20.

  • I used some silicone oil and it works out quiet well so far!

You just spray it in and make shure every part of the cube gets a bit of it and your cube is way faster than before!

  • i put like vaseline in my cube and now it falls apart when i utrn it to fast what do i do to make my cube not fall apart? btw its a 3x3x3

  • Welll..What you can do to make your cube fast and not fall apart..It's that take apart your whole cube and use a tissue to clean out all the vaseline. Then, what you do is get silicone from a store and spray it in. It will be way faster than vaseline and it's also more efficent

  • Buy a Type A DIY Cube. Then DONE!

  • the jelly will wreck your cube

  • stupid guy doesnt know how to use silicone!!! hahah! lame goy!!

  • so many sex jokes

  • silicone 999999% better

  • i think if ur smart enough to solve the cube you know how to put it back together...

  • don't put petroleum jell it destroys your cube make the pieces come out while you are solving it and sometimes if you don't remember the position of the pieces it may not be right positioned when you're solving it.

So don't use it, I recommend compressed air

  • People say don't use petroleum jell because it destroys your cube. Well that's true. But that's only after a few months. And it's not that hard to come across 10 or 20 dollars every few months. Even without an allowance.

  • and ur peices are wronge when u say center thats the peice in the middle and edges are the ones u call center peices and the corners are in the corners lol

  • You just totally butchered the english language, all in one paragraph!

  • yup

  • dude u can make it alot easier if u didnt put the peices in oposites put them in like one color then the one beside it and yea or when your cube is all apart put the pieces in layers cuz they just slip in

  • i can't pop it out

  • tou can pop it out if you try with a knife from above the cube not underneath

  • use something to pry it open. for me i use scissors

  • you put lotion on all 6 sides like that right?

  • after 1 week take out the vaseline and it will move very smoothly

  • omg thats what i was forgetting, shaving the middle pieces thanks loads

  • lotion works well and it doesnt makeit sticky

  • Does it really, never thought of it

  • it works ALOT

IT DOESNT FK UP UR CUBE...

  • yes it does you dumb fuck

it eats your cube and brake it after a while

really bad for it dont use it people

use silicone spray more smoother and faster

its not bad for your cube like this shit

  • are u saying just to take apart ur rubiks and and put vaseline on the sides of each middle piece

  • love the shaving way

  • thats lotion smart one

  • vacelina fucks up your cube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @DidiFtw But it takes a couple of months to do it. The speed you get out of the Vaseline is worth have to by a new one every 2 or 3 months.

  • woah man you fast at solving!!!

  • mightybond or rugby much better than your vaseline.......try it now......

  • hi mR...can u teAch me hOw to imProVe mY finGertricKs????

  • Yeah, sure.

  • hey,i tried powder and it worked quite well too!

...(honestly,that powder was from my sister's bedroom)...

  • WOW! can you use any type of powder?

  • No, bad idea. I used graphite on my old one and I couldn't even turn it without getting my hands black

  • don't use powder

  • CAN I USE LUBRICANT OIL?

  • Yeah.

  • no don't use oil use 100 percent heavy duty silicone spray (made by CRC)

  • does vasalien work? and where u get this jelly?

  • Wal-mart but most any store has it.

  • dude he is awesome!!!

  • Thanks.

  • dude im awsome!!!

  • dude u are awsome!!!

  • Thanks.

  • no problem

  • How fast do you average on the 3x3 rubiks cube

  • Between forty and fifty seconds.

  • do you sand all the middle pieces

  • yes

  • i like that other cube u did lol

  • get more tricks so its cool

  • I have more tricks but I need converting and editing software for my computer.

  • they say that Vaseline burns plastic in a period of time, i dont know is it true? then if it is, wats the alternative?i tried oil, but its too liquid.

  • This is true. The alternative is silicone.

  • This is true.Alternative is silicone.

  • where can i get a REAL rubiks cube for cheap?

  • Wal-Mart.

  • question ..............what is the ultimate rubiks cube, the hardest youve done .

  • Ummmm. That I've done. The 4x4x4 cube.

But I plan to get the Megaminx!!!

  • thanks

  • Any time.

  • how much is the 5 by 5 rubiks cube

  • Between $20-$30 I think. Not sure though.

  • how much is youre rubiks cube?

  • I just got it from wal-mart for like 10 dollars.

  • or you can sand the peices

  • yes you can.

  • heel yeah!

  • lol.

  • where can u buy silicone

  • wal-mart

  • thanx

  • use silicone it works beter

  • No it is less messy there is a difference.

Jelly makes it way quicker just a little more messy and a little peeling of the plastic on the colors.

  • thanks man i never knew what they meant by "shaving down the centers" the myth that petroleum jelly wears down your cube never applied to me. oh well nice vid

  • Thank you very much.

  • Where can I buy petroleum jelly?

  • Wal-Mart, Target or HEB. Almost any where.

  • i love the vid but i tried it and i accidentaly overdosed the cube so it ooses make sure not to do this and it took me hours to fix it and its still not completely clean

  • what was the name of that first song in the beginning?

  • I don't know the exact name of it but it is by "Sum 41".

  • 1) Petroluem is very bad for your cube.

    2) Silicone spray is much cleaner & easier; esp. if you decide to shave down your centers

  • what makes jelly so bad for ur cube?

  • Wears the stickers on it out quicker.

But it dose move quicker than using silicone spray.

  • The plastic your cube is made from and jelly are both petroueum base products so it degrades it. Plus jelly is thick and gets really gummy.

  • its me again, does sand paper work for shaving the middle? just sanding the middle piece

  • No it is not as strong as the metal one and dosen't get much plastic off. The more plastic you get off the smooter it will be.

  • thanks i will try using the file then

  • Sure thing.

  • i dont get how you shave the center

  • By tacking apart the cube then using a metal nail file.

  • awesome video!! never thought shaving the middle piece make your cube super fast! 5 STARS

P.S what was the song at the begining

  • Thanks! It's one of Sum 41's.

  • messy, but works. thanks

  • lol. If you use it a lot it won't feel messy.

  • It's messy, but very helpful. thanks

  • Your welcome!

  • thx!!!

  • Sure thing.

  • dang...ur hecka awsome...thanks
