  • What size of wire did you used in this earrings and where can I get the kind of feather you have I love the earrings thanks for the tutorial!!

  • @Mrsjhasmincruz wire gauge - not sure, I bought it a long time ago (ask at an art's supply store what gauge size is good for earrings & wrapping)

Feathers & feather charm from the Dollar Store

Everything else (pliers, wire, earringwire) at either a local sewing shop or the Omer Deserres art store (in Canada). - all listed in the description box. thanks

  • @stealingbeauty Would it like infect your ears to use wire to make the part that goes in your ear?

  • @scmasone2 if you know how to make one to start off with - you can always disinfect before using. Also, it depends what it's mad out of because some people have allergic reactions to certain metals.

  • Very nice!! Love the aqua feathers.

You have very nice nails. Glad to see you can have short nails and still look great!!

  • @jcrefasi1 thanks love :)

  • what dollar store did u get them from? dollar tree?? did they come in a bag or single?

  • @babycakers56 Just a regular dollar store in Canada, which had a whole bunch in a bag. They weren't amazing quality, but it's good to practice with cheaper supplies. I really want to try this with better quality feathers, though.

  • you're so pretty :) great video :) thanks for posting this. p.s where did you get your ring? i think i have the same exact one. xo caroline

  • beautiful...

  • I have tried but my wire doesn't wrap easily. I have used only 24g wire. What gauge wire do you use?

  • @cherrygarciaful I'm really not sure, it definitely has to be thinner. I bought it a long time ago, and at that time I asked someone at the crafts store which size I should use. :S

  • really like this video, it was helpful!

  • did you use real feathers?

  • @misstwistedprincess they were from the dollar store, so I'm pretty sure they are artificial.

  • Super cute!!

  • amazingly great tutorial. and the earring you made were so beautiful. i love turquoise. definitely subscribing to your channel :)

  • Cool earrings! I think it'll be better if you just attach the feathers to the earring hooks with jumprings.

  • @tbloodawesome I would have, but these feathers weren't great quality. I doubt I could make a hole without the quills falling apart. I've seen other tutorials that do that with peacock feathers and things. i have yet to find really nice ones :(

  • such a cute idea! i love it!

  • there can i get the feathers

  • Very helpful vid. THANKS!!

  • Nice demonstration! Thanks.

  • what kind of wire are you using? The stuff that came in the kit I have sucks, and the other stuff i got is wayyyy too hard to bend!!

  • @TrippSwitch I answer this in the comments to the user keychay and wrote in the description box.

"i think it's anywhere between 22 ga and 28 ga, i googled what would be the standard gauge for wire wrapping. I'm not sure what size mine is because I threw out the packaging months ago. Maybe try asking someone in an arts/crafts supply store where they sell wires." ;)

  • I am making feather earrings to sale and I can't find pretty feathers anywhere!!!! The only ones I can find are shitty crafting ones... :( Can anyone help me? There is a Micheal's near here so I might try there BUT I would love suggestions. THANKS :D

  • @threadlessfan I want more natural looking ones that aren't dyed but I'm really not sure where to get better ones myself. Plus, I live in Canada, I don't really know where you can get them in the States. :p

  • do you sell your jewelry at Etsy.com ?

  • @NoraDlist nope :P i don't make things too often. maybe one day.

  • Totally gunna make these!! Wicked video, thanks soo much!

  • omg friend i love feathers.. i like all of them. those earings are so prity.. hey the video is good.. i like it,.

  • The whole video was great and all but your fingers looked so pretty HAHA :-$. And the ring is awesome, where's it from?

  • @missseriously forever21, not sure if they sell it anymore :-/ :P

  • ooouuhh pretty! where'd you get the feathers?

  • @Stouchy the dollar store, it was a dollar for a bar full of the colored ones. not all of them are usable. I need to find peacock feathers or fancier feathers, it would be even nicer.

  • what size is the wire?

  • @keychay i think it's anywhere between 22 ga and 28 ga, i googled what would be the standard gauge for wire wrapping. I'm not sure what size mine is because I threw out the packaging months ago. Maybe try asking someone in an arts/crafts supply store where they sell wires. sorry about that ;)

  • making this tonight!

  • LOVE IT !
