how to reset service indicator light on a volkswagen golf 1.9 tdi 2003 model

Continued.. as I had it before, but don't know if I accidentally turned it off somehow, or maybe they did it for me when I brought it on one time for them to fix me A/C. Your help would be soooo appreciated!! So confused and so baffled and feel a complete ar*e, if it's something I did! On the display I just have those two knobs which either changes the time, or resets my mileage for my next journey to 0. Your a diamond of you can help me out mate.

@icecrystals143 The dash only has time and reset facilities on it, If memory serves me right the display is controlled by the right hand stick, if there is a little rocker switch at the very end, press it and it will give you different options and there is also a reset button underneath to zero your mpg and instant mpg. Hope this helps a little

Hi there 'happydaze'. You seem to know quite abit from tour videos, so I thought you'd be the best person to ask. I have an '06 VW SHARAN, with a display just like in the vid. However it has the number 1 in the top right, and just belies this it states the mileage per gallon as well as the outside temp just below. My fuel pump option, and distance to empty seems to have disappeared?!? How can I enable it or switch it back on or is that something the garage/service dealer has to do, as I had it

I can tell you love this cars, thank you for your suggestions.. Tomorrow I will have atry and let you know. let me know what you think about this: all power windows works, all regulator works and are well greased.. fuse are all good and the relay open and close okay.. electricity is running well.. however.. passanger window is not going down an up neither from the master control.. or the possanger window control.. BUT, if i take panel off and unplagged the power window, it works.. what you think

Hello. Will this work on my VW Bora 1.9 TDI from 2001? And also,I have annother issue: sometimes the ABS & ESP indicators in my dashboard turn on,and sometimes they dont. And they do that when driving, out of the blue. Somebody told me that it's a faulty rear left Abs sensor. But I dont wanna buy it,if it's only a error. Please,if you can, share me your oppinion. Hi, chances are you have unplugged the seat belt pretensioners or possibly the air bag, look under the front seats there is a wiring harness, check they plugged in correctly, if they are do not go any further, take the vehicle to be code read, Please be careful do not put power to any of the cables under the seat. Hope this helps

@itstherealhappydaze my golf has the airbag light on also,i've looked under the seat and one of the wires has come away from the harness.Is it much of a job to remove the seat?as i cannot reach to reconect it.cheers

the polo is nearly the same press the reset button on the right hand clock switch ignition on and keep depressed until reset, any more trouble and ill post a vid for you
