  • i can tell by the way it sounded that it didnt rev to no 8 grand. Unless it has thousands and thousands in it a 351m will not turn 8 grand without blowing up.

  • I doubt a stock 351m/400 can make it to 6,000 rpm without blowing up. It has to be balanced, machined, and blueprinted to take that kind of abuse. These engines made their most power at 2-3 thousand rpm, never was meant to turn fast at all.

    8,000 rpm is the 289 and Boss 302's domain.
