  • Where is Rodney Dangerfield Buried? Just Asking

  • At least he doesn't have to look at Roger Ebert anymore

  • @Aliendear

Anyone who begins a post: "I have observed, there are key famous people who died before sept. 9/11." - is asking for a flip response, to poke your idiot bubble till it pops.

Your comment was presumably 100% genuine, making it all the sadder a comment on how unlettered and incoherent you are.

..."goto College, get a degree, and learn something.", you write. If you can't see the irony of THAT, in retrospect, I'm afraid you are dead to the concept of irony.

  • @Aliendear

The people behind 9/11 are monsters, huh?

Hhmm...I'm going to have to disagree with that. I saw it differently -- I saw a thrilling spectacle of human courage and daring-do, with a heartwarming message for children to learn from.

  • RIP Gene Siskel. You are always going to be remembered as one of the greatest critics ever. We miss you, Gene.

  • @death2ur, can u try and get john hughes grave aswell.

i would want to see it.

  • RIP Gene, weird how as a movie fan his death hit me as it was someone I had known personally, to this day I miss Gene and his reviews.

    Gone too soon.

  • thanks for all these videos you guys did allot of work

  • Apparently whoever shot this was never told not to walk on graves.

  • When superstitious symbolism meets reality, it often loses its meaning. This is a perfect example: The camera person is obviously present to pay respect to the memory of a man he admired. That much is crystal clear. What is actually below the ground he is walking on is a mass of unaware, lifeless, decomposing flesh. You criticize the symbolism of walking on the earth that covers this object, and miss the entire point of the video. Tradition can be valuable--but it can also blind you.

  • Not superstition. I am not a superstiltious person. We have lost respect in our society, for the living and the dead. A cemetery is a sacred place.

  • @catholicpriest1 How utterly appropriate I give a review of your erroneous and 100% incorrect comments here. FYI you are seeing Jewish FOOTSTONES that are routinely & traditionally places at the foot of the grave. Headstones are typically erected for the Familly plot name.

At NO POINT did the person shooting this step on anyone's grave, nor show any lack of respect! If anything quite the opposite. He showed himself placing a stone on the grave, a Jewish traditional sign of respect.

  • And to continue my point, how itronic that you, who made a fuss of how society is losing respect is in actuality the ONLY one here showing that lack of respect by your ignorance of what was actually taped. I'd say you owe the poster a big apology!

And another FYI that stone is left behind as a sign of rememberence/respect to the person's you are visiting. If you go to any Jewish cemetary you'll see tons of them (often at all graves as Jewish people will often leave at any loved ones grave).

  • I apologize, he didn't walk on top of one grave, he walked on top of 17 graves to get to Gene's grave. Let Gene rest in peace! Did he ask for his grave to be put on Youtube?

  • @catholicpriest1 Hmmm I saw him walk respectfully beneath the footstones, above graves. But clearly you want to pick a fight & be right, so forgive my stating the FACTS here that are showing you wrong.

As for whose grave he visited & put on YouTube, you'd have to ask him. I stumbled on it while trying to find Gene's last appearance on TV. Clearly you came for some some reason. If you are so offended why not just LEAVE?

Not sure why u chose your name, but don't Priests support PEACE?

  • Wonderful video. Thanks for posting.

  • get john hughes grave

    i want to see it

  • oh my god-who is holding the camera at the end? Gene's ghost?

  • another person to add

    john hughes

  • We already had planned on going to Hollywood, I hope they decide what to do with Michael before we get there.

  • try to get people from the rear window movie

  • where is james stewart buried ?

  • He is buried in California. That is our intended trip next year sometime. He will definitely be on the list.

  • yeah, try get more people from the

rear window(1954) film. all the people are dead from that film.

what about desmond llywellen, the q man from the james bond films ?

  • @death2ur have you ever thought of visitig RAY COMBS'S gravesite the family fued host he is buried in hamilton ohio, my hometown

  • Watching At The Movies will never be the same without Gene Siskel who died 10 years ago. both he and Roger Ebert are truly the best damn film critics on TV.

  • It's so sad. Gene has left us and now Roger has lost his voice. I'm going to miss both of them on At The Movies. RIP Siskel

  • Thanks for the video.

  • Why did you stick your chewing gum on his grave stone? And what's the tattoo you have on your left wrist?

  • It wasn't chewing gum, it was a rock. It is a tradition to leave a stone on someone's grave. The tattoo is Aramaic for "Jesus the Messiah."

  • Life's hard for me to understand. We do our thing, then it's gone. Gene was only 53...

Smart & funny guy. The chemistry between him and Roger was great.

  • what year was this recorded ?

  • It was October of 2008.

  • rest in peace gene siskel.

    (20 february 2009)

  • when it comes to hes 10 year aniversary, i am going to comment on all hes videos saying..........

rest in peace and so on.

  • You guys do a fine job!

  • Thanks much.

  • beautiful video. to think he would be 63 today. I will miss you Siskel

  • Thanks. I miss him to and it is very obvious that Ebert does also.

  • Today is Gene's birthday. He would be 63. Time has flown so fast since his death. We'll always miss him.

  • I dare say Siskel would have given this heart touching epic a thumbs up.

  • We thank you.

  • And just think. On February 20th, it will be 10 years that Gene died. Time flies fast. We all miss him deeply.

  • I came across a memorial video from Siskel and Ebert on one of my VHS tapes, and came to Youtube to see if it was on here. I didn't find it, but I found this video instead.

Nice to see that someone took the time to archive his grave for those that would never have the opportunity to see it.

I do have a question though. I am not jewish, but I know that leaving a stone on one's grave is common to many followers. I would like to learn more about this. Can anyone please explain?

    Thanks.

  • Very touching.

  • Thanks so much.

  • yeah...that was really touching. love you guys!

  • Ahhh....two thumbs up! You guys rock!! That was so sweet! I miss Gene.
