Anyone who begins a post: "I have observed, there are key famous people who died before sept. 9/11." - is asking for a flip response, to poke your idiot bubble till it pops.
Your comment was presumably 100% genuine, making it all the sadder a comment on how unlettered and incoherent you are.
..."goto College, get a degree, and learn something.", you write. If you can't see the irony of THAT, in retrospect, I'm afraid you are dead to the concept of irony.
Hhmm...I'm going to have to disagree with that. I saw it differently -- I saw a thrilling spectacle of human courage and daring-do, with a heartwarming message for children to learn from.
When superstitious symbolism meets reality, it often loses its meaning. This is a perfect example: The camera person is obviously present to pay respect to the memory of a man he admired. That much is crystal clear. What is actually below the ground he is walking on is a mass of unaware, lifeless, decomposing flesh. You criticize the symbolism of walking on the earth that covers this object, and miss the entire point of the video. Tradition can be valuable--but it can also blind you.
@catholicpriest1 How utterly appropriate I give a review of your erroneous and 100% incorrect comments here. FYI you are seeing Jewish FOOTSTONES that are routinely & traditionally places at the foot of the grave. Headstones are typically erected for the Familly plot name.
At NO POINT did the person shooting this step on anyone's grave, nor show any lack of respect! If anything quite the opposite. He showed himself placing a stone on the grave, a Jewish traditional sign of respect.
And to continue my point, how itronic that you, who made a fuss of how society is losing respect is in actuality the ONLY one here showing that lack of respect by your ignorance of what was actually taped. I'd say you owe the poster a big apology!
And another FYI that stone is left behind as a sign of rememberence/respect to the person's you are visiting. If you go to any Jewish cemetary you'll see tons of them (often at all graves as Jewish people will often leave at any loved ones grave).
I apologize, he didn't walk on top of one grave, he walked on top of 17 graves to get to Gene's grave. Let Gene rest in peace! Did he ask for his grave to be put on Youtube?
@catholicpriest1 Hmmm I saw him walk respectfully beneath the footstones, above graves. But clearly you want to pick a fight & be right, so forgive my stating the FACTS here that are showing you wrong.
As for whose grave he visited & put on YouTube, you'd have to ask him. I stumbled on it while trying to find Gene's last appearance on TV. Clearly you came for some some reason. If you are so offended why not just LEAVE?
Not sure why u chose your name, but don't Priests support PEACE?
Watching At The Movies will never be the same without Gene Siskel who died 10 years ago. both he and Roger Ebert are truly the best damn film critics on TV.
I came across a memorial video from Siskel and Ebert on one of my VHS tapes, and came to Youtube to see if it was on here. I didn't find it, but I found this video instead.
Nice to see that someone took the time to archive his grave for those that would never have the opportunity to see it.
I do have a question though. I am not jewish, but I know that leaving a stone on one's grave is common to many followers. I would like to learn more about this. Can anyone please explain?

The people behind 9/11 are monsters, huh?

Not superstition. I am not a superstiltious person. We have lost respect in our society, for the living and the dead. A cemetery is a sacred place.

Why did you stick your chewing gum on his grave stone? And what's the tattoo you have on your left wrist?
ECWnWWF 2 years ago
It wasn't chewing gum, it was a rock. It is a tradition to leave a stone on someone's grave. The tattoo is Aramaic for "Jesus the Messiah."
