Wizz Jones is still out there..at the age of 70....but never mind his age...he played two blinding sets at Moniaive Guitar Festival this weekend...and still joined in the after hours session in the pub till 4am after...

Lucky you! I have two of her albums (one superbly produced by Ron Geesin) bought in late 60's/early 70's and they are treasured. I have never managed to see her though.

As for Wizz Jones - I saw him last night and his playing was phenomenal.

it seems that every folk legend in the UK has covered this song, each with a different feel. wizz's version is right up there in class with nick drake's, bert jansch's and john renbourn's!
