I'm Australian and I honestly think our national anthem is rubbish and our flag, I think that we should get rid of the 7 pointed star (considering the fact that there is 8 states and territories) and put in it's place the aboriginal flag. That way, we commemorate the british for settling half of us as well as the indigenous people who were here first. Everyones happy, done.

Though i agree with your first point - the national anthem is embarrassingly bad and the flag is outdated - i reckon do an updated version of the eureka flag
