Oversteps sounds great. I haven't really enjoyed an Autechre album since Chaistic Slide. Haven't stopped playing this.

bit-depth is more about dynamic range / amplitude... if you want the best quality, get vinyl... then it is up to whatever they did to make the music.

I do think a new Autechre album is worth 30 pounds, and the poster and the heavyweight edition vinyl would make it worth that much. In addition the digital mp3 copy which would probably get a lot more use from most people ordering from Bleep. I love all of Autechre's albums. Kudos on passing your driving test.

@AnalFuckingCow BTW a CD has just 16 bit. I GUESS! me as an audiophile want more then that. that's why they offer a 24 bit wave file. and i hope the wave has more then 44.1kHz sample-rate so you can HEAR AUTECHRE'S OUTPUT IN ALMOST PERFECT QUALLITY like they want it. woifjaisjfasldfjaoweijf

@mildredsmittens they often mix certain albums to be played for a specific format. tri repetae is called by them "incomplete without surface noice" meaning vinyl is preferred. Draft 7.30 was actually released on cassette tape because they thought it sounded best on magnetic analogue. album-to-album circumstance i think.
