  • classic, all so inocent, diffrent kind of commody today, shame.

  • Today in class someone's chair was wobbling and they had to prop it up with a book. It raised them a few inches from the ground and it reminded me of this! Even more so when they book gave way and they came crashing down x

  • Shame you can't really hear the words over the laughs, but it's understandable! :-)

  • I remember seeing this sketch as a child with my dad : ) ,. to me it will always be iconic !

  • that has got to be one of my favorites!!!!

  • This is the new british government isnt it? :-)

  • Who's the third guy??

  • @biggeorge2 roy castle

  • I love how Eric always finds himself with a self-rising chair :) I think this particular routine is the funniest XD so subtle! I love the "delayed" reaction of the audience.

  • Absolutely hilarious, my favourite all time comedians, very sadly missed, thankyou for sharing. Happy New Year, best wishes, Margriet.

  • Sorry Niiauyr

Morecambe and Wise's TV shows were always filmed in front of an audience - that was genuine laughter.

Part the reason they werent as successful in films was because there was no audience reaction to play off!

But TV - always an audience

  • I'm pretty sure I've lost over 5 pounds laughing at Morecambe & Wise.

They're irreplaceable to say the very least.

  • Ah, brilliant simplicity nearly killed me with laughter. xD

  • I fell out of my chair watching and laughing at this clip.

  • thanks your so right it is the simplest thing that are the best :D
