Im a korean american. I try to find ways to root for the us soccer or find reasons why they are better than korea, but i can't. There is not much technique from the us players especially the guys in MLS. Clint dempsey and mcbride are the only ones who could perform. Eddie johnson too. Besides that, you can't create any stadium chant songs for the usa unlike mexico, korea, italy, or even china and north korea!

Park is good, no doubt, but Korea is a one-trick-pony in that regard. That said, there are several US players that could start top 4 EPL. Onyewu, for example, is heads and shoulders better than Rio Ferdinand, and he'll prove that at Newcastle. Adu, in time, will be at that level. The jury is still out on Dempsey, he needs some more seasoning. It'll be interesting to see how guys like Mapp and Bornstein develop in the coming years. Mapp could be damn scary in a few years.

There is not much technique from the us players especially the guys in MLS. Clint dempsey and mcbride are the only ones who could perform. Eddie johnson too. Park is good, no doubt, but Korea is a one-trick-pony in that regard. That said, there are several US players that could start top 4 EPL. Onyewu, for example, is heads and shoulders better than Rio Ferdinand, and he'll prove that at Newcastle. Adu, in time, will be at that level. The jury is still out on Dempsey, he needs some more seasoning. It'll be interesting to see how guys like Mapp and Bornstein develop in the coming years. Mapp could be damn scary in a few years.

But in the US it is nothing more than an extracurricular activity where your mommy drives you to pactice a few times a week in a mini-van and you get coddled by your coaches. In other countries, all kids do is dream of becoming footballers like Ronaldinho or Rooney. No, it basically means that Argentinians think that they are the best people in South America who are worth a lot when in reality they're not worth jack shit. Sounds mean, but, I've met plenty of Argentinos and they are all the same.

This commercial brings tears to my eyes. I love it! I love soccer and this commercial proves that soccer, or as we Latinos call it, futbol is catching on here in the US! Plus, Landon Donovan is so hot!
