Ah god damn, I remember when I walked through the fog with my hollow soldier armor and longsword. I got the first one down halfway thinking, "Too easy!". Then the second comes down behind me and goes, "LASOR!". I die being from being scared to death of the Maneater 2.0s with no pot to spam firestorm in. I can't take this...

I was being all happy and cocky when I got this fight because I thought it was fairly easy. Then the second one showed up and rocked me. I cried myself to sleep asking why From would do this to me two games in a row.

@Falsodeus yeah they can be annoying but once you get it down they are pretty easy. my suggestion is to be human and get knight solaire if you havnt. not great for damage, but hes a nice distraction.

The hardest boss fight in all game. At first I was like, OK just one guy to kill, but when the second showed things took a turn for the worst. Without knight solaire (who was there mainly for taking aggro) I'd propably never pass this boss. At one point I almost gave up at this game ...

@TheVodkaChugger Not everybody checks guides on the internet. Without the guide no way that you find out by yourself that you have to cut off the red dragon's tail with arrows to get the drake sword. I've used the drake sword in the 2nd playthrough ...

@neznanec23 Not true at all i dident even know about the sword but i just figured i could kill the dragon when i seen its tail by shooting him

i did a good deal of damage with arrows though so it dident take long people with low dex would likely give up fast

@neznanec23 The game makes it pretty clear you get shit from cutting off tails, after cutting off the gaping dragons tail and the bell gargoyles on accident i went back to fight the hellkite head on at the bridge and cut off his tail to see what I'd get and wam-o! drake sword. Later after I started I started a new game, i found the under-bridge method too. These japanese games are all about experimentation, and though few people actually take the time, those of us that do are rewarded :)

I'm pretty sure each of the kings field games were pretty similar, takes more than one attempt to refine a game (Sonic 3 & Knuckles for eg).

Dark Souls is an improved version of Demon Souls, deal with it son.

The music in Dark Souls isn't as moving as the songs from Demon Souls. This theme would be more fitting for Queelagh than the Garygoles.

The only song in demons that made me feel any emotion at all was maiden astrea's theme. In this game there is emotion in almost every single boss theme.

I once had the first gargoyle stomp over to me exactly when 1:31 starts. The steps were perfectly in tune with the song. That moment is when I fell in love with Dark Souls.
