I am in the military. I'm a 15J(OH-58D Armament,Electrical,Avionic system repairer) in the Army. Most of my airsoft guns shoot 500+ fps. That's a 1/5 of the muzzle velocity generated by their real steel counter parts. War isn't a playground as depicted in video games and airsoft(I play milsim they don't), it's the closest thing to hell that we know of. If someone doesn't want to be in combat and doesn't want to take lives then why not play airsoft or paintball?

The only realistic guns are airsoft guns. Most are 1:1 in size and weight. They are mostly affordable and ammo for them are actually cheaper than dirt. Keep in mind that you can't kill someone legally ANYWHERE, except on the battlefield. Are you ready to fight on a battlefield? I would most likely think no, but I could be wrong, I'd have to meet you, but don't you think it's ignorant to think someone should join our military to kill? Where is the honor in that?

If by game you mean video game, then no, sitting on your couch playing video games instead of actually getting shot at,tripping on terrain/getting fatigued, and using battlefield tactics. A simulation game may be mentally realistic to a center extent, but mentality is only a piece of combat, it's mostly physical.
