@ogryda68 for 30 years they were made n sold here 100% aussie its only been since they have stopped making monaros in australia due to low sales cos of high petrol prices n sent them overseas that they r now called the pontiac gto in the us they don't own it still has an aussie body and ur lucky to have it. it was a sad day for us aussies 30 to 40 years of history a fucking nice car but hsv's have made up for it just i own a 2009 hsv senator signature its my pride n joy 6.2 littre v8
@NIKL19 cv8z is the overseas name for the ls1 as the ls2 if it has a different name, its a overseas division of Chevy and they make just as good as shit if not better, i love the monaros over gto's any day only because the power comparison and some if not most come with the supercharger already i believe, correct me if im wrong...

It's a Holden Monaro, which is what the Pontiac GTO was based off. The Australian version had no Chevy badges.
Personally I don't care either way. If the guy had Ford badges on it, that would be another matter.
