Read all of the different song lyrics and you'll find that he became a tormented soul in spite of his superstardom or maybe because of it. He was raised Catholic, worshipping dead statues instead of finding and worshipping the Living God, Jesus Christ. If you seek to know Truth with all of your heart, Christ will reveal Himself to you. I hope Layne did.

Alot of the demos sound better to me then the studio versions. I like the demos of would, sunshine,and rooster better.Or maybe I've just heard the studio versions so much and its good to hear something a little different

Cool, this is the version that they recorded during the Facelift sessions. Much better than the demo version that ended up on the Music Bank boxset. By the way, this song was never officially released on CD, since the We Die Young EP was only available on vinyl.
