@6MasterYoda ... barring the notes does help facilitate faster playing because your left hand index finger does not have to move. However, when possible, I try not to barre strings in solos, because when you don't barre you get less notes blending together (which means you have better note clarity). But that does not stop me from occasionally barring notes in solos particularly when the two (or more) notes being barred are played immediately after one another. I hope that makes sense

I really appreciate how you break that 1-3 seconds of riff down and play it like 3 or 4 times in a row at full speed while showing the tabs, and then break it down in lesson format. That is an art in itself, being able to dissect exactly what is going on at full speed. Also - this forces you to use your ear as the final judge, as I see a lot of vid tutorials that are close to the original, but not exact.
