unlike many EU and Vick players, im not big on history either. in fact most of what happens in these games is new to me. i do not know what happened to major nations in 1824, so i do not know what to expect in the games. i think i can even enjoy the game more than the history buffs because everything that might happen is a "surprise" for me! :)

Hmmm... after finally grasping the baics of the demo and watching my capitalists build a vast assortment of factorys and railways and then building a large army to take british canada off the british only to find that i had to wait with large armies in provinces to occupy them and watched as the british came with an unbelivable amount of troops (in total they had like 160+ power) and then they obliterated my small army of about 80 power in total....... fail i hate the occupy timer thing:(

@MrDoedels yes the music is bad, but on my demo i put all my beethoven and motzart into the music folder and it fits perfectly and sounds awesome

@wsswaas Victoria II is different from Hoi3, here the gameplay is a bit more easy,

you don't have neutrality and it's less a war game, it's much more focused on economy, industrialization and prestige, but there is still alot of war, you could colonize africa and some other places.

I like more this game then Hoi3

@Alos21 Europa Universalis in my opinion is the best game in paradox, and it is one of my favorite strategy games, Hoi is very diferent from EU, Hoi3 Would be a Great if it didn't had in the gameplay neutrality.

Victoria 2 it's a Great game, but it should had more years the campaign is small.
