And leave it to DoucheOnTheNet to bag in the only perfect scoring drumline in DCI finals history. I have a feeling he's these dude that never marched anywhere but used to have some sweet snare breaks memorized and could really ram them on his Real Feel.
It is pretty funny that a bunch of kids are doggin this line. Ya'll gotta remember this is recorded with 1987 quality (sound) home video camera. This drumline is easily one of the best in DCI history.
Oh and btw, before you start trash talking about someones "chops" take a look at your own and work on yours kid because most of the people who were ACTUALLY ON A DCI SNARE LINE post their videos and stuff on here and could straight smoke you
JessOntheRun, I marched Colts in 1994, we had 136 sets total which was done by Jeff Bridges who learned everything he knew from about drill writing from the Cadets . I sat and counted the '87 Cadets show and the show from SCV, it was 134 for Cadets and 130 for SCV. 80 sets would be a high school band not a DCI Corps.
amazing this line won a perfect percussion score.... jeesh... its thick and sloppy... nothing but timing excercises.... absolutely absurd.... are they taping their snares? sounds so high schoolish (even for the 80's)
@JessOnTheRun sure is amazing!! too bad for you huh!!! actually i was in high school and I marched in this snare line. But hey from what you say you and I marched together in the 1990 Cadets drumline. Didn't we??? So you must remember I can and could drum you under the table. Unless you want to be under the table I'm drumming on?
@JessOnTheRun "sounds so high schoolish (even for the 80's)??????? are you fucking retarded?!?!? have you ever seen a show from the 80's? like maybe oh... idk 1980 Spirit of Atlanta? 1982 and 1986 BD? just to name a few.... and they played on mylar heads back then! I think that someone is just hatin' 'cuz they have no chops..... is that it? do you have chop envy? huh? you have itty bitty baby chops? it'll be okay.... if you sit down with your metronome and practice 8 hours a day! lol
I grew up idolizing that show. Funny to see Aungst caught being himself! I played BD#5 for one camp playing that amazing book before "Mookie" deservedly took the job.
Which one of these cats is Lee Beddis?

@JessOnTheRun Lets not forget that Garfields' visual program was miles beyond SCVs', I'd bet if SCV had 80 sets in their show, Garfield had 130 sets.
