Ah, the poor Hyperion - great looking ship, but not too useful for it's cost.
The lack of a clear role and hull setup/bonuses make this ship quite the odd duck. The Megathron makes a better gunship platform and the Dominix is queen of the droneboats.
If they ever get around to working on revamping existing systems like Blasters, Rails and Rockets, i'd sure hope they address the roles and attributes of the hulls that use them.
@StWikked I concur, Amarr ships look like giant fingers, Caldari are blinky light whores, and Minmatar are alright I guess. Their ships definitely have some weird designs, though.

the pressure inside your body would blow everything inside your body out to space cause there is no pressure from space countering the pressure inside your body
think about it this way
on earths surface the atmospheres pressure on our body is countered by the pressure pushing outwards by our body
if our body was at the bottom of the ocean the pressure of huge amounts of water on our body would overpower the pressure our body pushes outward so our body is crushed

There is not enough matter contacting your body to transfer heat, and you would in fact grow hotter which is why EVA suits are cooled not heated. The highest risk of immediate damage would be if you attempted to hold your breath. But if you knew enough to let it out, you would likely die a few minutes later from lack of oxygen and other low-pressure related injuries.

@impulse That being said, there are things that can cause faster heat loss than a vacuum, most recognizably moisture on the skin, and a wind (i.e. sweat, and how it works to cool you off).

Amarr are very very much pvp. Thier BS line up rocks. The Zealot Rocks. They have what many would call the best solo force recon, curse. Their dred rocks. Amarr havr great solo stuff. Gallente are also very similiar in many respects. Minimitar are great, though if you feel like playing eve on hard mode :p

tbh - You'll hear many people say this and its true - in game go with which ever ships you think look the best.
Though i would personally go Gallenta, i like their BS better and it takes less skills to get all their ships to good potential. Where is miny have to shield and armor tank depending on ship... more sp.
umm why are you changing then? Amarr are very often call op (over powered) in pvp. I'm amarr and they really are great. Problem is blaster you have to be very close. Thus Amarr make great fleet ships, great solo ships and great gang ships. How many sp you got atm? With Amarr it's well worth getting the relevent skills to lvl 5, and getting cap skills to lvl 5.
But yeh, tbh if you have already changed amarr your better of perfecting the skills...
Amarr were OP when stacking penalties weren't about, because you could fit 8 Heat sinks to a Armageddon, you wouldnt even need a tank, you'd just insta pop everything, I cant tell you how much SP i have, that'd be giving away precious intelligence mate, Amarr are very nice fleet ships, definetely, very very good battle ship fleets are to be had when you stick together to rep, idk i guess i just want a change, wondering how other races are.

I ask how much SP you have because Amarr tend to be SP heavy in the sense that it is once you get tech 2 guns, and very good capacitor skills that they really shine. Again i ask, because if like many you half ass your training and only go part way (lvl 4..) then any race will suck...
Anyway - I guess if yours just after a change go gallente because miny will be a bitch to train unless you want a specific ship of theirs. Gallente though your going to have to get used to 5-10km range ;) But saying that, there damn fun to fly. Just saying though, don't be thinking Amarr are PVE - there not. To further this point, they only shoot EM/Therm thus further not being as suited for PVE as some other races who can change ammo types...
I hate to admit from after of doing a bit of research that a hyperdon when shield tanked can put out double the DPS it does with armr tank he actually has a 1,600DPS fit on that hyper while that mega haveing the standard fit i think it's down to there skills other than that

You Mean: Use To Be Deadly ? :) With all do respect for hyp's but bonus 7.5% bonus to armor repair amount of armor repair systems speaks for it self. However Damage Mods are tempting and many times proved to be better choice.... - exempt from this time.
setup is all 8 blasters 5 cap recharger two's and three seperate named EANM's for chosen stuff. oh and dont forget the twin amarr navy large armor repairers
LMFAO. i'll keep my setup, you use those hardeners and when my nos drones get ahold of you, i'll still be repping infinately, regardless.
everone thinks hardeners are the best, sure i have a set of 500m hardeners, tuvans, etc, but i dont use them. obviously you come from a few years ago as i do. you played recently? hardeners aren't the only trick up anyones sleeves anymore.
if you plan on ratting with it, get railguns; prototype gauss (expensive warning) if you wanna pvp with it, then you'll want a different configuration. try 'hardeners' (XD @ failm0n, his name describes him best :) ) and you'll want anode modal mega neutron particle accellerators, (again, expensive warning) i use EANM's myself, amarr, tuvan's basically if its officer (has a name by it) or faction (has 'amarr' gallente' federation navy, etc in front of it), it will get expensive, but worth it.
from what i gather they use cap boosters to have na active tank but more common on larger ships is a passive tank they boost up the shield recharge rate loads and increase the resists and it works out better than it sounds im a armour tanker also.
Megas are superior to hyps in everything except cost. Only thing my mega lost to was a geddon who put out a godly amount of dmg before I could get in optimal. (my shield gone before I could touch him).
ummmmm megas arnt superior they are actually in a way equal cause the mega can put out the DPS while the hyp is one hell of a tanker if you fit it right
Retarded? no. A full gank mega can put a tanked hyp into hull before the hype can eat through the mega armor. The dps fit comes out on top when comparing those two ships specialties. Yes the hype has a better tank by a quite a bit, but it's dps output is lacking. Now it ultimately depends on skills/ fittings but that's part of the fun of eve.

the bloodpressure will rip your body to shreds, assuming your lungs arent filled with air.
it takes less than half a second to be in a absolute vacuum to be fatal.
as u will full of internal bleedings.
if that isnt enough, you will freeze quite fast with only 4 Kelvin (not quite exact) outside the spaceship (in the shadow).
besides the star's radiaton will ravage whats left of your body.

umm why are you changing then? Amarr are very often call op (over powered) in pvp. I'm amarr and they really are great. Problem is blaster you have to be very close. Thus Amarr make great fleet ships, great solo ships and great gang ships. How many sp you got atm? With Amarr it's well worth getting the relevent skills to lvl 5, and getting cap skills to lvl 5.
But yeh, tbh if you have already changed amarr your better of perfecting the skills...

Amarr were OP when stacking penalties weren't about, because you could fit 8 Heat sinks to a Armageddon, you wouldnt even need a tank, you'd just insta pop everything, I cant tell you how much SP i have, that'd be giving away precious intelligence mate, Amarr are very nice fleet ships, definetely, very very good battle ship fleets are to be had when you stick together to rep, idk i guess i just want a change, wondering how other races are.

See I'm guessing* you can't use tech 2 large lasers right? So you would most likely never have used scorch and put out like 700 dps from 55km away, and then changed to multifrequency frequency 1000dps for close range...
And no their not just fleet ships like caldari, you can very easily solo in them... heavy neut on a geddon *cough*

Damn great BC in the harby, great cepter and AF.
I ask how much SP you have because Amarr tend to be SP heavy in the sense that it is once you get tech 2 guns, and very good capacitor skills that they really shine. Again i ask, because if like many you half ass your training and only go part way (lvl 4..) then any race will suck...

Anyway - I guess if yours just after a change go gallente because miny will be a bitch to train unless you want a specific ship of theirs. Gallente though your going to have to get used to 5-10km range ;) But saying that, there damn fun to fly. Just saying though, don't be thinking Amarr are PVE - there not. To further this point, they only shoot EM/Therm thus further not being as suited for PVE as some other races who can change ammo types...

Actually there is a awesome shield tank setup for the hype which can do 1.5k dps overloaded. But really only works well with crystals.

I hate to admit from after of doing a bit of research that a hyperdon when shield tanked can put out double the DPS it does with armr tank he actually has a 1,600DPS fit on that hyper while that mega haveing the standard fit i think it's down to there skills other than that

how where u thinking on holding them there, and getting in range, and keeping them from warping off? And dont use named eanms.
mids should be: 1 heavy cap booster with 800's, warp disruptor, web, mwd, sb with res script.
lows: 2 Eanm II, 2 LAR II's (or faction) DCU II Magstab II
highs: whatever blasters you can fit :)

LMFAO. i'll keep my setup, you use those hardeners and when my nos drones get ahold of you, i'll still be repping infinately, regardless.
everone thinks hardeners are the best, sure i have a set of 500m hardeners, tuvans, etc, but i dont use them. obviously you come from a few years ago as i do. you played recently? hardeners aren't the only trick up anyones sleeves anymore.

if you plan on ratting with it, get railguns; prototype gauss (expensive warning) if you wanna pvp with it, then you'll want a different configuration. try 'hardeners' (XD @ failm0n, his name describes him best :) ) and you'll want anode modal mega neutron particle accellerators, (again, expensive warning) i use EANM's myself, amarr, tuvan's basically if its officer (has a name by it) or faction (has 'amarr' gallente' federation navy, etc in front of it), it will get expensive, but worth it.

from what i gather they use cap boosters to have na active tank but more common on larger ships is a passive tank they boost up the shield recharge rate loads and increase the resists and it works out better than it sounds im a armour tanker also.

Megas are superior to hyps in everything except cost. Only thing my mega lost to was a geddon who put out a godly amount of dmg before I could get in optimal. (my shield gone before I could touch him).

Retarded? no. A full gank mega can put a tanked hyp into hull before the hype can eat through the mega armor. The dps fit comes out on top when comparing those two ships specialties. Yes the hype has a better tank by a quite a bit, but it's dps output is lacking. Now it ultimately depends on skills/ fittings but that's part of the fun of eve.
