Of course they don't, you hit it right on.
The only action they get is flex not telescopic.
Well unless you T bone a car, then they will tele.
Road shock is 90 Degrees vertical from the axle and slightly forward. Not 170 degrees forward of axle.
Show bikes don't apply the same rules, and don't have to.
