Very cool viewpoint , and and great airplane. This is my favorite tipe of Piper ac's, anyway can you sand me a Operation Manual of this airplane via email please? Thanks bye
Very nice landing! I've been considering a Cherokee Six as a transport between BKL and 60J, as a C172SP is just too slow/small. I've read "AOPA Pilot"'s review, and have been looking at videos. While the mag claims pitfalls, you "greased" that one easily! I am encouraged and REALLY impressed. I'll be looking for a Six ASAP! Thanks, and blue skies!
I'm based out of a very short strip so dropping the flaps upon landing is a very natural procedure for me. Doing so really "sticks" the landing, and gives you more weight on wheels for braking if you needed it. This particular runway didn't require any braking but I dump the flaps anyways. Check out the youtube video, search for cherokee six alton bay, I think you will like it.
My uncle flies out of KBAF. He has a piper cherokee.

I read your comment on lowering the flaps as you touch down I couldn't agree with you more it's just a very good habit to get into..

Did you buy the airplane? The six is a great workhorse. Its not very fast but can carry lots of people and land just about anywhere.

This is a bad practice to get into when flying with a retractable gear aircraft. Not necessarily bad on a Six with the gear down and welded.
